    He liked dogs, so I think he would have picked a Houndour.
     
    Whichever one had a mustache or a German name...Maybe he'd like Smoochum and Jynx, because they're blond. Hitler likes blonds. Fire types and Pokemon used for cooking. Machoke and Machamp as bodyguards
     
    I could imagine him using something along the lines of Hydreigon or Zekrom tbh, they go rather well with his dark overlord persona if you ask me.
     
    I'd guess he would be trying to capture Giratina since he is very Violent, using his team probably consisting of Houndoom, Charizard, Machamp, Honchcrow, Dusknoir and Giratina when he captures it... But thankfully Pokemon aren't real! =P
