Hey, guys I've used this forum quite a few times growing up, but I've created my account not too long ago, so I definitely consider myself a noob...

I've been working on this awesome project for so long; I'm proud of it and eager to share with everyone, but I'm a bit insecure and I want to do it right... Which made me wonder, how do I make a good first post?

I remember seeing the "newsletter-style" presentations such as seeker's Phoenix Rising or ralandel's Pokémon Renaissance and thinking they looked great. But then, FL's Pokémon Island or Leon Draceus' Pokémon Mega Adventure also looked organized/straightforward and nice in their own way...

    So, basically 2 questions:

    A) Do you guys have any preferences? (Like, more colorful posts; dropdown images; newsletter...)

    B) Any particular information you think such a post must have?

There's specific things you do need for PC, but most of the really good posts I've seen format their posts with CSS, which makes it elaborate and really sticks it out from the crowd. It's entirely optional though - the priority, I'd say, is making your screenshots scream "you really want to play this!"

Sometimes a video might do the sell better, though that also requires a bit of work!
