I've just joined the manga reading craze xD

I'm reading .hack//the legend of the twilight at the moment, and I have watched many anime, including Haruhi Suzumiya, Kanon and Ouran Host Club.

    Any suggestions would be great!

well, some of my favorites are Fullmetal Alchemist and Magister Negi Magi.
And the all the Arina Tanemura Mangas are great. A bit girlie, though. I've read hack, and its awesome..you would like FMA too, I guess.
    manga ftw! =D

Frankly, I could recommend over a hundred manga from my own experience. Any genre in particular?

Well, there are a thousand mangas worth reading.

But since you are on a pokémon forum... you should try reading Pokémon Special/Adventures manga :] It has a storyline way more interesting than the anime's (does the anime even HAVE a storyline?) And it covers all the regions so far, with about 30 volumes. The first volumes are pretty silly at some points, but it gets better.

Can be found on mangafox, or scans of it even here in the manga section on PC.

    I like sci-fi, drama/romance..

FMA anime is awesome, so I'll look into getting the manga

Pokemon Manga.. hmmm.. never really thought of that, will look at that too

    anything else?? thanks

I'm not too familiar with a lot of sci-fi or romance mangas, so the only one that comes to mind that involves both genres is To-LOVE-Ru.

Separately however, for sci-fi manga; BLAME, Dragonaut - The Resonance, Mai-HiME, Persona 3 and 4, and Zetman.

And for romance; Ayu-Mayu, Bakuman (hint of romance but mostly shounen), CardCaptor Sakura (great sense of romance but it only starts to impact the story in the last few volumes), Kashimashi ~Girl Meets Girl~, Kurohime (again more shounen-based but romance is actually important to the storyline), Othello, School Rumble, Shugo Chara and Vampire Knight.

    The Getbackers

The manga I have enjoyed the most. Its quite unique if u follow it from the beginning.

Dorohedoro (Hayashida Q), Blame! and Biomega (Tsutomu Nihei), if you like cyberpunk SF, although Dorohedoro is actually a fantasy manga.

If you like short manga that doesn't make much sense, Nichijou (Arai Keiichi), Harumination (Daioki) and Yuri-seijin Naoko-san (kashmir) are all good.

I would try Sailor Moon Manga personally as i've read it,it is good you know!
