Hello everyone, I am new to the scene of ROM Hacks and I am a bit lost/confused when looking for a map editor! I have looked over FAQs and forum posts and google searches, but whenever I come across a map editor it either no longer exists or its old and not updated. I also looked into RPG Maker but I just felt like it was not the same, and would take longer to work with in trying to get it mechanically like a GBA Pokemon game. I wanted to start messing around with an editor but I simply can't find a recent one. Specifically looking for one that can edit GBA ROMs.
This is just a little passion project for me and I am brand new to it, so if I missed an obvious answer somewhere I apologize!
