    need one more badge on emerald..what happens when ive beaten the elite 4....can i catch all existing pokemon? is there anything else to do etc etc
     
    Yes, you can catch finish up you PokeDex. You can also begin work on your National Dex. A new area of the Safari Zone will also open for you to explore. In that area you are able to catch G/S/C pokemon. You may also go to the Battle Frontier a major new stepping stone for all trainers. You will be able to catch both Groudon and Kyogre after the Elite Four and you can choose to hunt for which Lati you want.
