I always try to put a good nickname for as many of my Pokemon as possible. Here are some of the names that I'm most proud of:

Latias - Rikku
Beldum - Lambda
Drifblim - Yorke
Leafeon - Raven
Glaceon - Siberia

Somehow, I think your nickname for the Bibarel is oddly appropriate...
 
good nick for swampert could be quagmire a reference to family guy and quadmires wich are swampy parts of land
