[Other] What OW sprites can Pokemon FR/GL/S/R/E can handle

Upon Creating a rom hack i was wondering if its possible that if GBA pokemon games can handle 4/5 gen OW sprites?

Yeah they definitely can. Just take a look at Platinum Red or Life.

Of course, but you'd need to expand both the amount of OWs and palettes. Even if it's just a few Pokemon, chances are they'd look pretty ugly using the default FR palettes.
