3rd Gen What pokemon are good for emerald version?

Well all Pokemon are good really. They just need the right care and training.

True true, Most are good.Like zangooses are just ok and stuff.

The same Pokemon that you used for RS will suffice for Emerald. The only trouble will be actually having to train up for the E4 instead of using a Kyogre to sweep everything away XD But seriously, as long as your team is varied in type and strategy, you'll be fine. ^_^

Yesh, just raise a well ballanced team(maybe the same as on your R/S version) and train them all up really well. Like DSS said, there's gonna be a bit of trouble with the Elite Four, so just keeping training them up and making sure you're at least 2-5 levels higher than a gym leader and you should be fine. Try making a team of different types so each Pokemon you have can help you against types of Pokemon that are rather hard to beat for your other party members.

True, but you have to admit that some are inherently more suited to battle than others. Even at level 100 Skitty is never going to stand a chance against Groudon no matter how you train it. (Believe me, I've tried.)

That's true.

But you can catch Raquasa (spelling) before the e4 in Emerald So He can just smash the league.Which is kinda bad because then you don't have the challange of training.
