If its just for 3rd gen, then my favorite is Emerald.... If not, then Emerald, Crystal, or Platinum.....

Assuming this is talking about GBA games, considering that it's in the Advance Generation Games...
I'm going to go with Fire Red. It was like the first generation games, only in color. Besides the storyline in R/S/E sucked, and overall, I disliked the game and the new pokemon.
However, if it's any pokemon game, I have to go with Pokemon Gold. Best. Game. Evar.
