What Pokemon names have you always pronounced wrong?

When I was younger I used to pronounce Suicune:

Soo-i-seen

XD

I couldnt say Raichu for the longest time, haha.

Uuum.. when I was younger I used to call Zapdos um.. 'Zapados'.
I still do that. =P
I also pronounced Arceus like ar-kay-us for the longest time, but I've since adjusted it to ar-see-us.
Let's see, what else...?
I pronounced Kyogre like ky-rogue and Rayquaza like ray-quah-zuh instead of ray-quay-zuh

*has a problem with legendary names*
Umm... I pronounced Raikou like ray-ku instead of the 'rai' as in rye bread x3
I thought Mesprit was Mespirit
I always thought Azelf was ay-zelf not ah-zelf.

...Dang. Legendary names just don't agree with me xD

Well, I used to prenounce Ho-Oh Ho-Ho, but that was ages ago.

Also, I used to prenounce Suicune Suu-i-cune, not swii-cune.

However, I always prenounce Ponyta wrong, and I do it on purpose.
According to revolution, its Po-ni-ta, however I prenounce it Po-ni-tar. :\

Let's see, all I can think of are
-Rayquaza (Ray-Kwah-zah instead of Ray-Kway-zah)
-Aron (Air-ron instead of Arh-on)
-Meganium (Mega-nim instead of Me-ganium)
-Staravia (Star-ah-via instead of Star-ay-via)

And that's it, I think. Most of the time, after watching the show, I pick up the proper pronounciation quickly (this can be seen in my Steven Stone and Friends videos - the first few I pronounce Aron Air-ron and the later ones I pronounce it Arh-On)

jiraichi was always hard for me to sound out until i saw the movie.

same goes for giratina (gee ruh tee nuh?). :\

GIRATINA.

I always pronounced it as "Jur-Ah-Tina" or something like that.
and then I see the ad for Platinum and the guy pronounces it like "Gear-Uh-Tina"
and I'm like "Uh... I think he's mispronouncing it ._." so I looked in that Stickerbook that happens to show you how you pronounce the names and it says the same thing I'm like "Oh. -.-" xD

But, I still pronounce it like I have for the past 2 years. xD
Guess I got used to it. xD

EDIT: Wait, NOW it sounds like "Jear-Ah-Tina"

Also, when D/P came out in the US I pronounced "Palkia" like "Palika"... Heh, I must've misread it.
shortly after I realised I read it wrong and since then pronounced it right. xD

I think the same thing happened with "Dialga"... I think I misread it as "Daliga"... I think, I don't know. xD

Is Sceptile pronounced almost like the word 'skeptical'? Because if it isn't, then I've been saying it wrong for years.

Since I only ever read the names, I say

RAY-chu instead of RYE-chu
DEE-al-ga insteag of DIE-al-ga
Star-VAR-ee-a instead of Star-A-vee-a
SOO-ee-koon instead of SWEE-cune
GROO-don instead of GROU-don
NINDO-ran instead of NI-do-ran
... and any more I can't remember at the moment.
Oh, but I say Ar-KAY-us as well.

Hmm where do I begin lol.
Seems I'm not the only one who's had problems with Raichu, Gyaridos, or Suicune back in the day.
(Rye-ah-chu) Raichu
(Gy-ari-dos) Gyaridos
(Soo-i-sine) Suicune - misread that one lol
I can pronounce everything right now though.
I call Purugly (Pure-ugly) because it's so ugly.
I say (Ay-zelf) because that's how I read it.

Pidgeot I used to say "Pih-Jet"
Spearow and Fearow I said "Spa-row" and "Far-row"
Farfetch'd I used to say "Far-fetch-Dee"

those are just a few i can think of

I never *actually* took a good look at Girafarig.I called it "Gira-fig"
I never knew there was two R's >.>

And i've been calling Aron 'Air-on' all this time until I read this thread >.>

Oh!

I always thought Staravia was Stair-uh-via
... yes, 'stair' xDD

Aron will always be Air-on to me. There's no changing it xD

Chinchou was chin-choo.
Manetric was 'may-neh-trick'
Groudon was 'Groundon'
Bonsly was 'bon-slee'

...and I think that's it xD

I'm still confused... how do you pronounce 'Chimecho'?

For years, I said 'chime-cho' but a friend corrected me, saying it was 'chim-echo'.

Which one is right?
