2nd Gen What Shinies Have you caught on any game (not including red gyrados on G/S/C)

How do you guys get shiny's so easily? You guys are very lucky. I only have two shiny's, A Black Charizard in FireRed, It took me about 3 months of restarting to get it.
My other is a shiny Lugia on Silver. I wanted a shiny Lugia in the first place but I was not about to restart for 3 months. But I found a shiny Lugia after restarting my 20th time to catch it. I was like srew the Ho-Oh and the Dogs and used my Master Ball!
