What should be done about Just Pichu?

Okay, but if you are wanting to join staff, we welcome anyone.

*cries* Stop ruining the internet! Stop it, stop turning evreything into a buisness, life isnt a buisness and Just Pichu dosent need workers. IT needs on staff member with some common sence to know that Pichu is not Greet its Yellow, Just Pichu is a fansite. Not part of some stupid network that is ran by some kids pretending that they are a business. No Just Pichu is four five years old and for you to take it over thinking it will bring you hits or give you a better business is sad. Just Pichu is not a business and stop acting like it is. I think Steph shouldn't have sold it to the highest bidder but gave it to the most valuable webmaster that has the courtousy and the common sence to run it. Let me rephrase, The most valuable WEBMASTER... no S no... Board of Directirs.. no staff... just a person who can make a layout that is semi descent that is uber cute and not buy it from Pokemon 706, and fans to support.

Okay, sheesh, I plan on making it a self-ruled system. Here are KyleTech, Ltd's plans:
KyleTech grants network sites self-rule
KyleTech, Ltd. announces that today - KyleTech will give all sites self-rule. This means that all member sites have 3 branches:
Guide Branch:
This consists of 3 guides that monitor the actions and see if they are legit and follow the social contract. This allows the KyleTech group to stop distribution of illegal content like Roms or warez.
Fan Branch:
This consists of a focus group of fans that really are not staff - they just have an interest in the development of such site. Thus - they recommend and vote on features suggested by staff or themselves.
Staff Branch:
This consists of a manager, an assistant manager and an associate manager. Then, positions are made when needed.
Like, for an example:
JP is going to try to get a better news program. The fan branch will be notified and will vote on the feature. If it is apprived then the feature will be added and thus will need a news updater. The guide will then make 2 positions on the KyleTech staff server. The positions will then be given to the people by the site manager. Thus this is a more democratic way to go.
How do I sign up for this group?
This group is easy to register for. Just go to *link removed* and click Forums. Then register. Once you have done that, join the user group JP Fan Branch. This will give you more of a say in things. A KT Guide member will IM you in less than 3 days saying "Do you really want to join this group?" Answer yes and your account will be activated.
How do I become the manager or a staff member?
Click Become staff under Just Pichu's banner. Then you can fill out a form and it will be sent to the manager. If there is no manager, than a guide will recieve your e-mail.
How do I contact a guide directly?
To view a list of Guides, editalls, managers, and staff members just go to *link removed* . Then click their name and click send an e-mail. This will give you a feedback form.
Why can't I just get their e-mail address directly?
Because that will give you the ability to spam. Unless you specify that you want the guide to directly see your e-mail, they will see it.
Can I be a guide?
Nothing stopping you. Just apply at KyleTech and you will recieve a training manual.
Plus the JP Social Contract
Our Social Contract with the Web Community

KyleTech, Ltd. hosts and administers the Just Pichu (JP), and has discretion over its content, use, and operation as described in the JP's Terms of Use. Just Pichu is maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors. The following is a social contract that we created to reflect KyleTech's commitment to the Web community to keep the JP a free and open resource. It has been inspired by, derived from, the Debian Social Contract.

1. Just Pichu Will Remain 100% Free

We promise to keep the distribution of JP data, and the submission process to this data, entirely free. We will support our data users who choose to add propriety and revenue generating content, and other non-free value-added functionality upon versions of the JP in which they download. In turn, data users agree to attribute use back to us per the free use license.

2. We Give Back to the Web Community

We license our content as free with attribution back to the JP. We will make the most comprehensive, user-friendly directory possible, so the content and taxonomy will be widely used and distributed. We will do our best to list web sites in a fair and impartial manner, and consider all user requests and suggestions for improvement.

We will make every effort to build a high quality and comprehensive directory. We will make every effort to evaluate all sites submitted to the directory. However, we do not guarantee all submitted sites will get listed. We will be highly selective and judicious about sites we add, and how we organize them. Sites that we do not routinely list are outlined in our submission policies and editorial guidelines.

We will protect JP's intellectual property from infringement. KyleTech, Ltd. owns the rights to the compilation of Just Pichu, as well as to individual contributions. However, we provide non-exclusive, royalty free rights back to our editors for their personal contributions, so, they can present their material to the greater Web community in other ways if desired.

3. We Don't Hide Our Official Editorial Policies

We will keep all official editorial guidelines and policies open for public view at all times.

4. We Provide an Open Invitation to Join

We extend an open invitation to the general public to join to the JP's staff. Our community is a diverse group of subject experts and web aficionados. Our categories attempt to express the depth and breadth of human knowledge. We accept editors from all walks of life, and we attempt to represent all points of view. We will keep our application process open to anyone interested in joining. Each new editor application will be reviewed by a member of the JP community.

Our application process is necessarily selective due to our commitment to building a quality resource. Not all applications will be accepted. We do not endorse any formula for the perfect application, however our intent is to accept applications that show fairness, impartiality, objectivity, and "fit" within our editorial guidelines and codes of conduct.

5. We Encourage a Self-Regulating Community

We foster a self-regulating community governed by community-driven standards. We encourage the community to regulate itself, and to provide the checks and balances needed to ensure that its members follow mutually accepted codes of conduct and editorial standards. We depend on the honesty and integrity of the volunteer editors to ensure the directory is high quality, user-friendly, and free of abuse.

6. Our Priorities are Our Data Users and the Community

We will be guided by the needs of our data users and the JP editorial community. We will place their interests first in our priorities. We allow others to create value-added distributions containing JP data and data from other commercial and noncommercial sources, subject to the terms of the free use license, without any fee from us.

7. Users Not Meeting The Free Use License In order for JP to continue to flourish as a free and open resource, it is critical that our users comply with our free use license. We do not permit unattributed use of our data, and will request data users to place the attribution on their site or remove the data entirely if they wish not to comply. We consider unattributed use a legal infringement of the free use license, and contrary to the JP's purpose as an initiative.
Plus, ruining the internet? That is not our intent nor will it ever be! This is a bad way to put it. On the contrary, we love to see the growth of the internet. Plus, pretending to be a company?! We are a Class B Corporation that has not yet released it's IPO. Plus, our network is not stupid.

wow. you brought it back! good job TR

Thanks, but another site is about to become a part of the KyleTech Network. *Cough* PC *Cough*

Oh No! Oh No! I don't give a god darn what the heck Admin Rule says I will flipping quit before you can say Kyle if you are telling the truth.

Kyle, you are what 17? LMAO, i have never seen anyone like you, you lie, and you don't even make your own Layouts. Your kyle tech one, is one from freewebtemplates.com. If your so called "Company" is suppose to be good, MAKE YOUR OWN LAYOUTS.

As for BODS or w/e, Your full of it, at 17, you can't employ anyone. And at 17, your "company" shouldn't be targetting Pokemon sites, it should be doing proper sites.

If you don't stop turning everything into a sales, or business opportunity i will be talking to the admins about it.

Also, Don't worry PSB ^^', they won't make him a membersite :P.

I agree, the way you seem to be running this site and stuff just doesn't seem right, a site like Just Pichu isn't like a buisness it's supposed to be just a place on the internet you build for fans of the subject in question, it's not supposed to be run like a buisness at all and it certainly shouldn't have a huge "Contract" list, that's almost like reading the Terms and conditions when you sign up for stuff, something no one really wants to read -_-;;

And just out of curiosity regarding Just Pichu, even though you were talking of getting staff members do you YOURSELF love Pichu, more than any other Pok?mon? Really to be in charge of a site like that you have to have a keen intrest in the subject to run it if you don't it will just fail so you are better off just giving the site to someone else...
Honestly just think to yourself, if your intrest lies more in the rest of your site or on unrealted Pichu things then maybe you should consider giving it up to someone else, yes you may have your hands on a really popular site but as I said you need to be a diehard Pichu fan to run it.

Yeah, it takes a certain fan to make a site like that. You have to have the love for Pichu, and you have to know how to make it an AWSOME fansite.

www.pichus.com is a good pichus site, he has SOOO many picture of Pichu :P

XD Sounds cool PSB. Kyle, if you are not going to put your heart into this JP project and make it a really good Pichu site, I suggest you give it to someone else who does really love Pichu.

Simone, I don't lie and I really don't need to be a member site. All I need to do is trick, i mean, talk the the owner of the domain and VBulletin license - that is right - I am going to buy PC! Muahahahahhahahahahahaha! - Oh and by the way - Evil is my Anti-Drug.

dude if you buy or even try to buy pc I will buy your whole **** site or I will turn you over for fraud for having a company without a permit? Wouldn't the IRS just love to know :) thats what i thought...

*no1 gets between me n the forums i love*

I have a license - Class B corporation. And you can't buy because I won't sell!

I seriously doubt the owner of PC is goin to sell it :tired: .
But if for some reason he did, I'm already scared of all the ugly styles you will replace the current ones with ;) .

Trust me, I am not going to buy PC. It does not fit into the higher purpose of KyleTech, Inc. Just Pichu is a test of our ontology software.

Just to see what yall really think of me and my company

Kyle, if you havent noticed the pokemon community doesn't take you seriously and wants you gone. If you continue to buy out pokemon sites the leaders in the pokemon community will probably eventually buy you out to keep a variety. Also if you continue to buy sites and we find out your host lets jus say we will work to get them to drop your account ;) so umm yeah back off
