What Should I Choose?!

I have a little bit of a problem that I need some help solving, I'm asking for your opinions on what I should use. I have a team of pokemon i've been working on for a VERY long time and it's almost done I'm just not sure who else to use so far I have:

    Flygon
    Charizard
    Lapras
    Metagross

and I need two more, I have a really cool meganium that I like and an absol that I only sorta like, I'd like to keep the meganium but I'm not so sure If the grass type is really worth it (since I seem to find them pretty weak) I was going to keep rayquaza but I really don't think he is that good since he's 10 levels higher than my other pokes and still gets KOed rather easily. I also have a aerodactly but I don't really want two flying types and was looking more into an armaldo or another dragon type.

if you have any suggestion I would be very grateful
    thanks in advance

I am going to give you the right advice. You should choose what you want not what other people want you to choose. But it is still good to listen to advice.

get an alakazam, or, if you can't trade, gardevoir. gardevoir worked great for me; i beat the E4 no problem. The only problem is finding a ralts in that route before petalburg, since they're kind of rare. And if you don't like grass-types, you could get an electric like Raichu or Manectric instead. Not only are they good against water, they're more resistant against fire-types. Your only weakness with them is ground, which is covered nicely with Lapras.

also, I'd replace Flygon with a stronger Dragon and/or Flying type such as Dragonite, Salamence, Pidgeot or Altaria. I'd go with a dual dragon-flying type since they neutralize electric attacks. Then you can teach one earthquake to K.O. electrics.

but, as Dark Venusaur said, it's up to you ;)

To be honest, before you can even get good opinions, you need to be more specific with what you are asking. What is your goal with your Pokemon team? Are you concentrating strictly for an in-game team, or are you looking to have link battles with others too? What version are you using? If this is in-game, where are you currently at? If this is for link battles, what type of team are you wanting?

As your team stands now, you have made good choices with Lapras and Metagross. Flygon and Charizard (both Flying-types BTW) can be strong if they have proper stats and movesets. DO NOT add another Dragon or Flying-type Pokemon to your team, unless it is replacing one of the two aforementioned Pokes. That will make your team too weak against Ice-type attacks, and Ice Beam is common.

Once you have given more info, we would really like to give you opinions on how to make your team stronger.

Well, I personally think you should use the Meganium, because as I've noticed, you're missing a grass type in your party. They may seem weak, but once they're raised to a high level, then they're totally worth it. I always try to use my Cacturne before trying my strongest pokemon- Blastoise, because his grass moves are so powerful!

And also, in my Firered, my rival had a bulbasaur 10 levels below my Wartortle, but he still almost beasted me. And no, it's not because of my total incompetency, it's because he had a great strategy. Sleep powder, Leech Seed, and then Vine-whip over and over until my pokemon woke up, then the whole process over again. (pissed me off of course) It's cheap, but it definetly worked.

Grass pokemon just have to be used in the right way, then they kick butt.

Perhaps you should try a poison pokemon as well? I find that status effects, are a nice thing, as the E4 seems to like them as well -_- They stay even when your pokemon that inflicted the status faints or leaves the battle. Poison and Paralyze are two of my favorites.

But in the end, you'll want to train up the pokemon you pick so that they match your other team member's power, so that one doesn't get the butt of it all, like my teams.

an electric-type is better than a grass-type because it only has one weakness and many strengths.

That doesn't matter all the time. You have to look at the STATS

    No.
Even if the stats are higher it doesnt mean that its better. For example a level 50 Magneton wouls EASILY faint by a level 40 ninetails.
If i were you, a Victrebell with good stats will be better than a meganium.
Maybe a ground pokemon in your team would be goos aswell, like a Rydon.

Like I said before, arachnidgirl, you cannot get good opinions until you explain what type of team you are wanting. If you are still interested in help, please read my previous post and provide us with more info. Then you will get more serious suggestions.

Whelp, since the ones you have in your Party currently aren't grass-types, I'd use Meganium. That would balance them out more then Absol would. I love Absol, but it also isn't the strongest Pokemon you could have. Meganium is your best bet out of those two, I believe.

i would advise u to get a shiftry since u hav no grasss or dark pokemon and shiftrey can become really powerful or you could also get a claydol like wot i did and teach it these moves
    Hyper beam
    Earthquake
    Phychic
and a normal move like double edge or strength

that would make some good claydol
