Ever had your own views on how the Pokemon storyline should be like? Want to voice out your opinions? Here is the place for you...

I think that Ash should re-unite with his Pidgeot since they have been parted for so long.

Ash's Monferno and Grotle should both evolve.

Ash's Primeape should be strong enough, he should get it back.

Ash should leave his Gliscor with Prof. Oak since its soooo weak.

Charizard should be always on his team like Pikachu. Except in its Pokeball.

Ash should quickly get to Sunyshore City for his battle with Volkner and meet his old friend Jasmine.

Richie should suddenly show up and have a battle with Ash.

I really hate Piplup not evolving, hope it becomes an Empoleon.

Monferno should show up more as its soooo cool.

Not gonna bother critiquing your idea since you said this, because it's obviously wrong; Gliscor has actually proven to be more powerful than the majority of Ash's Pokemon. (specifically Grotle; WHAT has it done since its evolution? Not much, I'll tell you that.)

I would have rewinded to "Throwing the Track Switch" and kept Buizel and Aipom where they belong. After that, I'd keep Ambipom with Ash and not in Vermillion training for ping-pong. Is Pokemon racist against monkeys or something? Seriously.

I would include Team Galactic and Nando a bit more. Nando's a BAMF.

In the Sunyshore Gym battle, I'd have Ash use Pikachu, Gliscor, Grotle and Monferno. Though, considering how he defied logic in Snowpoint, I'm not going to hold my breath. :|

Flint and Bertha will appear sooner (I would have had Bertha appear by this point already, and Flint appear just before the Gym battle in Sunyshore)

Ash will fight Paul one last time in the Sinnoh League, beating him with cliched matches (Grotle vs. Torterra, Gliscor vs. Gliscor, and Pikachu vs. Electabuzz/vire). He'd go on to win the Sinnoh League.

In the Champion League, he'd fight Charon, perhaps the Battle Frontier, and then the Elite Four, but he'd lose to Cynthia.

    Gen 5.

    The end.

I would ensure that Pokemon had a more 'mature' storyline add a little bit more action instead of Team Rocket, alternate between TR and other villians of the day to make it more interesting.
    - Have Meowth evolve into Perisan, and Brock evolves Vulpix into Ninetales. Pikachu COULD get an upgrade into Raichu, but it depends.
    - Ash would interact more with other people and there would be more professions within Pokemon world. He could age into teenager by 5th series and form more personal relationships, which would be interesting to see how May/Dawn/Misty react! xD Get Ash some hardcore Pokemon such as Tyranniar and Salamence
    - Speaking of which, he should bring back some of his old Pokemon for touraments and not abandon/leave them so much to other trainers, make some evolve. :3
    - Introduce the legendaries clashing in some episodes to add more dynamic and action and actually do this over several episodes storylines. I love dark storylines
    - Add Light and Shadow Pokemon and 'Fusion' state where Pokemon can merge with each other if conditions are right through technology or arcane means. Pokemon can also combine attacks! :3 Make some people have elemental powers through their relationship/bond link with their Pokemon.
    - Add the Sun and Moon stones :3 Feature TMs/HMs more and concept of how they work, show Pokemon eating things other than berries, make some of the wild Pokemon carnivorous/untamed instinctual creatures and chase Ash and gang, (to add actual 'danger' to each episode)

From top of my head, I may come back and edit. I dunno.

    - Team Rocket should split, James going back to his old home and perhaps meets a special someone. Jesse and Meowth should continue with Pokémon Contests. I say Meowth as he has to follow one of them, and he's more like Jesse.
    - Brock should also leave at the end of the show, open up a breeder center of some sort. Maybe with these characters leave, we could do another Pokémon Chronicles series? :)
    - Ash's team should stay the same, but in the latter stages. Maybe in the quarter-finals and onwards, use his stronger Pokémon (Charizard and Sceptile) along with some of his Sinnoh. He'd finish in the semi's and lose to Paul, he really should.
    - Don't really care much about Dawn, but I'd say a respectable finish in the Sinnoh Contest.
    - At the end of the series, Ash thinks about his next destination at Professor. Oaks lab. Bayleef approaches him and Ash reflects on his time in Johto, and decides to return with Bayleef and Pikachu.

I'm sure the writers will go for usual clichés though.

I agree to all of your ideas. Especially DonRoyale, I really missed out the fact that indeed Gliscor had become a lot stronger than before. If Grotle still had the speed it got during the pre-evolution stage (Turtwig), he might be a lot stronger. Not to mention capable of taking powerful blows and resisting them.

He should really defeat Paul in the Champion's League and triumph. I don't think Dawn should achieve much in her contest, I detest her behavior.

Brock should follow Ash everywhere he goes. And maybe the twosome should get re-united with Misty and explore some random islands like the orange islands.
