And I feel that I was skeptic when I entered a pokemon forum, but after I stopped judging and looked past the flaws I started to enjoy pokemon forums.

And I feel the song is beautiful and sends a messages:D

I'm glad you enjoy it here, I had the same skepticism when I first joined.

I have a new song that describes me pretty well. Thirty-Three by the Smashing Pumpkins, off of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (Twilight to Starlight). This CD was meant to be The Wall of Generation-X and it was an absolutely amazing album. I love this song, and the lyrics really speak to me:

"And for a moment I lose myself
Wrapped up in the pleasures of the world
Ive journeyed here and there and back again
But in the same old haunts I still find my friends
    Mysteries not ready to reveal
    Sympathies Im ready to return
Ill make the effort, love can last forever"

^It reminds me of how far I've traveled, but how I can still find my friends in the places that are familiar to me, which always gives me some peace. I'm away at college right now so for the first time in my life I'm unable to just walk out my door and hangout with my 3 best friends I've had since I was 3, and losing that kind of support system is hard. Plus I just love the fact hey say if you make an effort love can last for ever... That gives me hope for myself and for love.

Milkshake by Kelis, Toxic by Britney Spears, and Breathe on Me by Britney Spears. I'm a very... sensual person, and these songs get me going. I can't help but to dance to them whenever I play them: driving, in my bed, in the shower. I just have to move.

I'd like to think it's something awesome, upbeat, and cool, (not to say the following song isn't cool :P) but I always fall back on Switchfoot's "This is Your Life". Every tough moment in my life comes back to that.

The song that fits me best would be "Gotta Be Somebody" by NickelBack. It just... "fits me."

I changed my mind: "Stop and Stare" by One Republic.

Mine would have to be "Fearless" by Taylor Swift!! The song really gets me!! My signature has the chorus in it!

    Fences by Paramore

Not the lyrics, because I can't even figure out what it's talking about. The music itself is just really upbeat, different, and every unique. :> People IRL do say I'm a little different, but like in a totally friendly way y'know?

The lyrics are not long, so if you don't mind, I would like to post the first three verses before the chorus.

    I will never bother you
    I will never promise to
    I will never follow you
    I will never bother you

    Never speak a word again
I will crawl away for good

I will move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
No thought was put into this
I always knew it would come to this
Things have never been so swell
I have never failed to fail

I have never heard then or since lyrics that are more powerful than thoses 12 lines.
The way they are written describes me in ways you wouldn't imagine. Truly the best song I have ever heard.

I agree with Angela, give us a little more here. You're obviously a Nirvana fan, and Kurt was a very deep but depressed individual, do you identify with his lyrics because you feel you are an outcast like him? Or do you not know where your place is? (btw, have you seen "Kurt Cobain: About a Son"? If not, I'd suggest renting it at least if you like Nirvana, it's an odd look into Kurt's soul.)

    Trouble/Miss Independent/She Got Her Own - Ne-Yo

    Cry - Rihanna

    Me,Myself and I - Beyonce

    Impossible - Christina Aguilera

Never Let Go - Bryan Adams

    Never Let Go

Can you lay your life down, so a stranger can live?
Can you take what you need, but take less than you give?
Could you close every day, without the glory and fame?
Could you hold your head high, when no one knows your name?
That's how legends are made, at least that's what they say.

We say goodbye, but never let go.
We live, we die, cause you can't save every soul.
    Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the kinda man who;
Will never look back, never look down,
    and never let go.

Most likely Good Times by Catch 22.

Note, there's a bolded word that is profanity. I changed the word to it's "replacement."

    "Mostly I'm an optamist,
bore my bad news and still persist
goin on about my problems say,
what's wrong with our world today?

It may sound funny, but I give you all my money,
and keep on going without a doubt.

I never thought I would make it this far,
stumbling between every nightclub and bar.
Every time I seem to catch my big break,
the man call me up says there's been a mistake.

Who can I count on? What can I count on?
Where should I turn to? Why should I be with you?

It may sound funny, but I give you all my money,
and keep on going without a doubt.
The good times playin, sayin life is good,
it could be better, don't you dare, go ahead give up.

From day to day I could get depressed,
but I've never paid someone to be opressed
    when shoot hits the fan,
I simply sit back and follow the plan.

It may sound funny, but I give you all my money,
and keep on going without a doubt.
The good times playin, sayin life is good,
it could be better, don't you dare, go ahead give up.

Who can I count on? What can I count on?
Where should I turn to? Why should I be with you?

It may sound funny, but I give you all my money,
and keep on going without a doubt.

After listening to the majority of the songs in my library and on my iPod, I've come to the conclusion that Shattered Glass by Britney Spears is the song that best describes me. I won't go into detail, but I'll post some of the lyrics and point out where they effect me.

    "Was it really worth it?
Was she everything, that you were looking for?
    Feel like a man
I hope you know that, you can't go back
Cause all we had, is broken like Shattered Glass

You're gonna see me, in your dreams tonight
My face is gonna haunt you all the time
I promise that you gonna want me back
When your world falls apart, like shattered glass
    Glass, glass, glass

Are you having trouble focusin' throught the day?
Do you find yourself, still callin' my name?
Do you wish you could be on time and take it back?
I bet you realize, she ain't half the woman I am"

And that's that. & Very nice thread Angela.

    Forever. :3

Because of the tune mainly rather than the lyrics (since I dun like dancing), I dunno, something about it.

"All My Friends" by LCD Soundsystem, from the album "Sound of Silver".

It's an absolutely beautiful song to listen to. Here's the full song; the video doesn't quite do the song justice, due to it being shortened for single release. =/
