3rd Gen What starter are you gonna choose in Emerald?

Treecko, I always choose the grass when I start in the game. It's my favorite type out of all 3 types.XD

Mudkip, maybe. I chose him on saphire. But I should get Torchic to raise my pokedex level.

everywhere you look you'll only see 2 good starters:torchik and treeko. the best is torchic. ere are some motifs: it looks better, it has more uses and with it, if you know how train it, you can beat just about anything that comes your way. so choose torchic over treeko.

Erm, but Swampert only has 1 weakness, unlike Sceptile and Blaziken who have tons ^^;

here is one BIG PROBLEM : torchic and treeko are much easyer to raise and use while mudkip is a little too hard for my own method. and it's not about weaknesses but about uses. in myopinion torchic is the best. the only thing you have to take care when you have him as your starter is the water type pokemon, beacause it thrashes all the others easily. trust me on this one, I've checked. oh, just for the books, I rarely use fire pokemon, I usually use dark, psichic and ghost to get everything right.

ok well i always dump my starter when i find the pokemon i want, so ill prolly have a mudkip for a while, eventually i will get a huntail to replace him, so yeah

lol, I'll pick Torchic, since on Sapphire my Torchic and Ralts made a pretty good team, until that is Ralts surpassed Torchic by far. XD
