4th Gen What team did you / are planning to beat Red with ?

Well I just somehow got lucky and beat him with with lvl 60- 64 pokemon on my first try and wanna see if any1 else got lucky lol , also can you battle Red more than once? cuz i wud love to come back with a stronger team

with a combo of my Johto and Kanto teams,cuz when i go to kanto im leaving all my pokemon in the pc except my typhlosion and im strting fresh

I TIED WITH RED!!! NOOO!!! I was so close, and my Lugia had been surviving his flare blitz with barely any health left, so I'd heal him up. He had full health, Charizard was almost dead (his last pokemon for me) and used flare blitz, so I thought I'd won... when it was a critical hit and it killed both. I hoped it counted as a win... I was really disappointed >.<

Most likely many may use their in-game team to challenge Red, while few may do differently. However, that being said we do have a thread (click me) to list your teams being used as well as a Travel Journal to share you stories. These two thread pretty much do cover the basic idea of this thread though, and isn't really needed. Plus, we also have a discussion thread on Red going on currently that can fit this idea as well, which you'll find here.

As for your question on if you may be able to challenge Red more than once, your answer to that is yes. :D After you defeat the Elite each time, you'll be able to visit Red atop Mt. Silver to re-battle Red.

All that being said, just going to go ahead and close this now.
