What tier list do we go by?

Ok, This is a really n00b question. But I've seen many Different Tier lists around, some of them just weird (Like Smogons one, putting Articuno in NU 0_0)

I just want to know what Tier list does EVERYONE go by??

Most people take use Smogon's tier system

The reason why Articuno is in NU is because of several reasons, 4x weakness to Stealth Rock, and electric, fire, and rock type moves are very commonplace meaning articuno will not see a whole lot of playing time if he is used in upper level tiers like OU and UU

Smogons is used and you need to know that they list POkemon into tiers by how much they used not how good they are, but even so Articuno has horrible weaknesses and a shallow move pool. So...

I use Smogon's tiers, but I only play OU so basically all I really need to know is what's uber and what isn't. UU and NU are of no concern to me. Zangoose is NU, but sometimes I use him anyways.

Articuno is NU because it isn't used much in UU. That's... all there is to it. It's still a usable Pokemon though.

Seriously right now NU is just a heap of leftover debris from the BL dump into UU. It's not a real tier right now so don't start classifying the Pokemon within it.

I don't go by tiers, I use whatever I like. I make it work Sometimes A UU and NU can kill a OU pokemon.

I play UU at the moment. I really enjoy it and I think I have a decent team. Anyone is free to go and rate it.

Oh, ok. Thanks everyone for clearing this up. I'll use Smogon next time. But Yeah, now taht i think of it, Articuno is pretty crap :0
