4th Gen What to do After Snowpoint?

My brother seems to have an odd problem with his pearl game. After making it to Snowpoint and beating the leader there he can't move on in the game. If I remember correctly the next thing to do would be to go to the nearby lake to meet up with the Galactic grunts but when he went to the lake nothing happened. Thanks in advance.

wow that is wierd. that has to be some sort of glitch or something because that is exactly what you do after beating that gym. Try rebooting the DS few times and checking again. Hopefuly youre brother forgot to tell you he already did that part.

I thought he might have forgotten so I went to the next area (Veilstone) and nothing happened.

Same thing happened to another person in a thread i recently read... Canclave Gym must be done BEFORE Snowpoint obviously, the in game 'switches' mix up, and prevent progress.
