What type of player were you when you started?

I was terrible. I was about 8 or 9 when I got Red. I didn't know how to...

- Save the game
- Use the Pokemon Centre
- Get out of the house...

Because I didn't know how to go to the Pokemon Centre or how to switch Pokemon, I ended up getting to Route 3 with a Level 19 Pidgeotto (If I fainted I just went back to the start at home...)
 
I wanted to catch 'em all and I did. I remember the last Pokemon I needed was an Omastar, which my friend then traded to me.
