  • The game is very addictive. I wanna know what game had you up all night. It was Emerald that had me up all night. The whole Battle Frontier thing was a smart move on Game Freak's part. Also the extras, oh man the extras. I got my Pokemon Diploma (This achievement is only enabled if you have pretty much all of the Pokemon RPG's) and of the other available things for the game.

  • I used to stay up late as heck playing my old Gold version. But since i'm older now, staying up late isn't a problem, but that's the only one that ever kept me up.

    Both fireRed and Emerald,trying to catch Mewtwo and Rayquaza in pokeballs is tough.

    When I started Diamond, I screwed up my whole sleeping routine. I was up until four in the morning and slept until one in the afternoon. My grades even started to slip from the usual A's to B's and C's. Not Good.

  • Really? You can use a little in-game hack. When you run into Rayquaza or Meowth, use the ultra balls(on Rayquaza only) it won't catch him at the first 3,400 times(LOL) then use a timer ball, then use the pokeball three times it should catch him.

  • Haha, I remember when I got my Ruby version. I just couldn't stop playing it. I think I spent like two all-nighters only decorating my Secret Base. Good times. ♥

    ...and why did they have to make the Secret Bases so iffy on DP? ;__;

  • All of them had me up. They are really addicting. By far, the 1 that had me up the most was prolly Silver or Ruby

  • I didn't have the energy to stay up all night till Gold and Silver came out. Since then, I have stayed up till about 2AM every night trying to beat whichever game I'm playing.

  • G/S/C was the first I played that seriously, every day as soon as I woke up I biked over to my friends' house to trade Mystery Gifts. Good times.

    D/P/P though has really kept me up a lot though, especially over friends' houses with underground stuff.

    Honestly, no videogames can keep my up, literally, all night long.. but some can come close. Maybe 3-4am. Computer aside, the only Pokemon game that has done that was Ruby back when I first got it.

    Good times, good times.

    Nowdays I'm at 3am playing D/P occasionally, but the game isn't what keeps me up... I'd be up regardless. nn;

    Hmm I can't remember! I remember playing Emerald at night time, but only because I wasn't sleepy. I remember I was on holiday when I bought Diamond (lol) and I stayed up late when I was defeating Galectic at the lake with dead Magikarp's and when I was trying to defeat the Elite 4.

  • OH RIGHT also Mystery Dungeon 2, if we're counting side games. It's actually the only game (not just pokemon, ANY game) in a long long time that I've been able to play for a long period of time at once without a break. Usually, even with my favorite games, I can only play for like an hour or two at the most before having to take a break. With MD2, I could not put that game down.

  • I just stayed up all night trading Pokemon over Wifi on my Pearl Version. I never really got sleepy, so I got a lot of Pokemon! I could never put my Nintendo DS down trading my Pokemon. I'm a really good trainer, too so it was all worth it to get even better. Ok, see ya!

    LeafGreen had me staying up all night, training my Nidoran. But unfortunately, I fell asleep without saving and lost the 10+ levels I got when my Gameboy ran out of power. xP
