This is my first card; a holo Leafeon n_n
I got a Japanese Eevee pack - basically Eevee and it's evos. - for my birthday.
That one was the first one which I got out ^____^ Man, I love that card.
 
I don't remember the first card I saw. The first TCG I got was a R/S/E deck. I did find some G/S/C boosters, which I opened before the deck.

The first card I remember seeing come out of the pack was a Promo Ho-oh.

A zapdos. And the promo oen in the deck.
 
Base Set Gastly. I remember playing against my sister with the cards that we shared from two packs, and having no concept of how the game was actually played. Energyless attacks for the win.
 
holo machamp card from the base set was my first.my freind gave me all of his and now i hav 2

I think you can only get that card in a magazine, along with another promo which is a rapidash...

The first card I got was a Drowzee. Me and my brother got a base set pack the first day pokemon came out in english, and the first card I got was the Drowzee. I still remember him finding a holographic charizard in his... Can't believe he was that lucky.
 
My first card was a base set machop (the one where its holding up the rock with one hand). It was laminated and was bent diagonally across the middle. I loved that card. My dad then bought me like seven boosters from the jungle/base I think. I then got going. I had the Zapdos that did like 100 damage, and I had jolteon and vaporeon. I then got ahold of a mewtwo with a wierd background. I looked different then my friends holo mewtwo (one was a fake?) but I still have that machop my friend gave me. It makes me feel good just to read it. I don't know about you guys, but where I lived, pretty much no one battled with the cards. We all just collected and traded them. And also we called the holofoil cards Gold Cards (still do).

This past week I was in Epcot at Disney. I went to Japan in the world Showcase. Not only did I find an Electric Feraligatr and a psychic Typhlosion card, I bought a Brushfire, and Overgrow and a water blast theme deck. I felt so cool!
 
My first card was a meowth with gold trimming that I stole from a neighbor boy. I got most of my cards back then from stealing them.
 
i was 5 yrs old. my first Pokémon card was the holo Mewtwo you got from Pokémon: The First Movie. i used to take it everywhere. then i collected more cards at 6 and later gave the Mewtwo to a girlfriend i had 3 yrs ago.
 
My first Pokémon card was a Holographic Meowth which came, I believe, with the Pokémon TCG for Gameboy Color. XD I was so proud of it back then because it was my only Pokémon card for a long time.

Yeah I have that one still in it's plastic thing, it came with the Pokemon TCG game.


I don't remember exactly all of the cards in the first pack I got, but I do know the rare was a Venasaur. I was so little then, I remember going around the house and pretending I was each of the pokemon I got in the pack, lol


Back then, and still to this day, whenever I open a pack, I look through them slowly one by one, just because it feels awesome knowing I could be holding a really rare card behind all the common ones.
 
My first card was a Base set Abra which I traded my lunch money and all of my Pkmn pencils for. That fifth grader drove a hard bargain. -nods- Then I realized I was being cheated, and told the teacher. O_o

I miss the fourth grade. -cries-

Still one of my favorite cards. Wish I still had it :(
 
My first cards were from a booster pack which I gota non-holo pidgeot.(Pidgeot looks really epic in The jungle set .)

But I traded it like a week later for an Arcanine cause,-lolz-
growlithe was my favorite, so I needed its evolution.:\

I still miss it that pidgeot...
 
I don't know how, and I can't remember where but the first card I seen at the top of the small pile I just slid out of a booster pack, was a 1st edition Charizard...

Then, my uncle told my dad to sell it (since he was a Pokemon collector)... I couldn't really say anything, I was just a kid. So he sold it, and got $90 for it, then bought me 2 more boosters since that was the limit stores had back when Pokemon was first released.

Now when I think back, I get frustrated... That card is worth $250-$500 today.
 
Hell, I can remember kids showing me cards and I badly, desperatly pleaded for one in prep until one gave into my demands and gave me 2 cards. A Fighting Energy and a Base Machop. This of course was about 9 years ago. I don't have the original copies sadly. Wish i did though.
