    I Don't Mean The Starter Pokemon Like Piplup And Chimchar
    I Mean     the first pokemon you caught after you got your starter.
    Mine Was A Shinx!
     
    In Diamond it was Bidoof since when I first saw it I thought to myself , looks like I've found a potentional HM Slave, turns out I was right.

    Then in Platinum I knew what the Pokemon were from my experience in Diamond and I caught a Shinx because Volkner had a Luxray,of course he also had an Octillery but I wasn't gonna get one of those
     
    Well, unfortunately it's also a Shinx. Because early on you can only catch Shinx, Bidoof, Starly and Kricketot, you're most likely to own one of the four.
     
    Erm, I remember I caught Shinx first in Diamond. In Platinum, though...probably Starly. I don't catch HM slaves till the point I actually need em.

    I've had various SHinx' and they just can't take a hit well physical or special. I didn't evolve my current one until 32 so it got Thunder Fang but once it gets its next level it is going.. My Golduck can now go too just as soon as I get the chance to catch a better water pokemon... Maybe an eastern Shellos until that evolves.

    On topic: My first was Starly, then the other localised noobs. I just train them til they evolve then release them into the wild, only keeping cool/tough/rare ones.
     
    My first pokemon that I caught on Platinum was a Starly.

    And I am still training it now that it evolved into a Staraptor.

    No it is not an HM slave or whatever you call those things.
     
    A Shinx, i new it would evolve into one of my favourite pokemon, so i caught it.
    And trained it up >.>
     
    Can't exactly remember, but I think it was either Shinx or Starly. Shame I can't remember such a detail. :(
     
    It was either a Starly or Shinx.
    I remember I caught both for my team.
