What was your reaction to South Park's "Chinpokomon" episode...?

meh... i used to like south park. but i just lost my want to watch it. i usually just watch nick at nite now :)

as for the chimpokomon episode. it was desent. not the best tho.

Not one on my favorite episodes, in fact its probably one of my least liked.

That was a good episode, and I wish more shows made fun of Pokemon. I have zero respect for Pokemon. I play the games (rarely), and thats about it. POKEMON MOCKING FOR PRESIDENT!

Good episode. Oh and i bet shoe can kick pika but. Kiddin oc. And the whole japan hating america part was funny. Especially the reason.

I had first seen the episode when I was too young to appreciate South Park's brand of humour. It didn't bother me and just took it as someone poking fun at Pokemon.

Nowadays, I consider it a (slightly exaggerated) reflection on how Pokemania used to be.

Then why, dare I ask, did you join a Pokemon forum? Even by looking at the bolded part of your post and your Title, it's really hard to tell if you're a guy who likes to join random forums or an actual Pokemon Fan.

On Topic, I LOVED that episode.

btw, Chinpoko = a certain body part that was mentioned throughout the episode

"OWATA!!"
"Fekoku!"

That was easily one of my favorite South Park episodes. The best part was when Garrison-San got pissed off at all the kids speaking japanese.

At the time I wasn't really as much interested in Pokémon as now. But I still liked it. I laughed at the ep. Long time since I saw it though.

*I'm just glad they didn't parody Squirtle o_O*

I kinda preferred Jokemon.... *can't find the clip anymore*

I liked it, and it made me laugh.

Remember Wild Wacky Action Bike from the episode? XDD

Ha, yeah that's true! Apparently it translates roughly as "Small..."! :D

Another piece of trivia is that the Chinpokomon Roostar looks a lot like Skarmory, yet this episode aired before any generation two Pokemon! Do you guys think that Skarmory was Nintendo's revenge or just a coincidence???

Nintendo saw a good idea and took it. Thats how they roll.

Besides the part where they bomb Pearl Harbor, I actually wish this episode would happen in real life. Seriously, it took them, like a week to learn Japanese, a complicated language, with the world's tiniest attention span.

Also, Johnny Test's Tinymon, Screechareen (or however you spell its name) was a parody of training a Magicarp into a Gyrados. And it looks like Shadow Lugia.

What about the tinymon Badiass Lol.

I wish I could've seen that South Park episode. :(
