4th Gen What were you're Favorite and least Favorite things about DPP

My favorite thing about Diamond/Pearl/Platinum was the GTS because it has helped me so much with my pokedex.

My least favorite thing about Diamond/Pearl/Platinum would be the way the girl and boy characters look.

ASPECTS I LIKED

- Graphics, sure they're different but I really like them personally, almost like Animal Crossing.
- Story, got a little while to get into but I didn't mind it.
- Wifi/online features
- Seeing pokemon rather than catching them to fill the Sinnoh dex (I still catch them regardless.

ASPECTS I DISLIKED

- Starters, yeah... No I'm not happy about them AT ALL
- Majority of D/P pokemon, some were really good and others were just horrible.

WHAT I LIKED
I liked the graphics (yes I do.).
I liked the online features
I did like the starters actually XD

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE
The Story.
The unnecessary Pokemon.
The Underground not being connected to Wi-Fi.
And the fact that you still have to physically go to places to get events, WTF?!

Basically I like EVERYTHING about DP EXCEPT the fact that cloning in it is very risky (~risk taking~) and I wish cloning was like Emerald ':D

really?it is lol i never knew and i usually get it right the 2nd or 3rd time around not fearing i screwed up lol

I like the graphics. Also some of the new Pokemon.
I also hate some of the new Pokemon. They look annoying :x

LIKES:
-Some of the new Pokemon (Lucario)
-The Underground
-The GTS. Yes! Now I can get foreign Pokemon!
-Amity Square (it's just cute.)
-Cynthia. She's probably the best E4 leader we've had.

DISLIKES:
-E4's levels are too low.
-Surf is too slow.
-Game gets boring after defeating the E4.
-Almost all the new Pokemon (Magmortar, Electivire, Glaceon, etc.)
-Same ol' starters. COME ON! Give us a Dark-Fighting-Psyhic lineup!

Like:
-Graphics
-Larger Sprites
-Varied Weather
-Some of the new Pokemon designs
-Underground
-Wi-fi features
-Day/Night
-Jasmine makes an appearance
-Pokeball capsules/seals
-Team Galactic (even if some Grunts laughably use Wurmple)

Dislike:
-Slow Surfing
-Mud holes in Great Marsh
-Some of the new Pokemon designs
-Some of the 'WTF" things you see on the GTS
-FR/LG has DPP beat in terms of character designs for the selectable characters (at least IMHO)

I Like the Battle Music For Dialga (Yes I have diamond)

What I Don't like is Stunkys they are ANNOYING AS HELL

And I also do not like hail

Likes:
-Some of the new pokemon (Leafeon, Glaceon, Dialga, Empolean, Lucario)
-Wi-Fi :)
-GTS
-The transferring of my Sapphire/Firered pokemon
-The new pretty graphics :3
-The story was better then other games (still sub-par though)
-The tried and true battle system
-Training Pokemon
-The fact that the bag could now hold infinite items (no freaking Item PC :3
-The attack animations
-There are more but meh.....

Dislikes:
-The E4 WERE far to pathetic
-There should have been more features (more interactions with Pokemon)
-Some Gyms were also far to easy (even during the time I fought them)
-Not much to do after you beat E4 and attain all 13 legendaries (one way or another)

Bad
  • Weakest elite 4 yet.
  • The legendaries have become very unnatural looking with the cable tubing or whatever it is that they have on their bodies.
  • should have been more things to do using bike eg. emerald (using acro and mach to access areas)
  • buildings and areas werent as colourful as some previous games
  • victory road was way too easy, especially compared with red blue and yellow
Good
  • it was Pokemon
  • new things to do
  • touch screen use was fun
  • few new features that were good like migrating

- Graphics are pretty awesome
- The new Physical/Special system [Makes it so you really have to rethink some pokémon..]
- New evolutions for Old Pokémon
- New attacks
- Improved attack animations
- Touchscreen battle system [gone are the days of misclicking..]
- Nice storyline

Dislikes: -
- The AI is still as illogical as ever
- Magikarp Man [Damn you nintendo.. Though I s'pose he's good for speed EV's]
- Slow battling
- I didn't find the new pokémon to be that inventive, In all honesty

Likes:
- the WiFi features

- graphics

Well, some of my favorite things about the game would have to be the graphics, new moves, and new Wi-Fi concepts. Now on the less favorable side of things, I really think the storyline should be less generic. Bad guy does bad thing, good guy gets 8 badges while beating bad guy. It worked for a while, but, well, it's starting to get a bit repetitive.

Likes:
-the new Eeveeloutions
-the graphics
-BUIZEL AND CHATOT ZOMFG.
-the switchable gears with the bike
-The whole mythology is quite interesting

Dislikes
-The fact you can't view ribbons from the Poketch
-the slow surfing speed
-the songs (well, I liked Oreburg)
-the fact that Sp. Defense EV Training is practically impossible without surfing, making it rather painful to train for Sp. Defense
-the generic storyline
