What Will Ssm3 Be Like???

I think Ash Ketchum would be cool, and maybe a Legendary Poke'Mon as a Playable Character like Mewtwo in SSBM2. Diddy and Dixie wouldn't be bad. King Dedede would be most likely over Metaknight, in my opinion. If they don't make an SSBM3, I will boot my Cube through the window! They need a new one! This Christmas would be perfect for it too.....
I don't think it is likely that Ash would be a playable character. They pull out characters that actually fight in their native game when choosing the playablr characters for SSB. Ash doesn't fight (nor the playable character in G/S/C/Ru/Sa/FR/LG for that matter), but the pok?mon do...

yeah, but somthing i'd want to see in ssm3 is mew and other ledgends, being playable characters

I really thought, and still think it's sad that they put Pichu and Jigglypuff in SSBM. They were pathetic, as Pichu was weaker and it hurt itself. Whilst Jigglypuff was better, it kinda focused as a defensive one, and defense isn't always the best strategy in this game. I loved the arrival of Mewtwo, and along with Pikachu is my favourite character,

If they did put another Pokemon in SSB3, then I think it would be a legendary, and it would be either Rayquaza or Groudon. Why them? Because Rayquaza would be able to actually float and attack, whist Groudon would be a a Ganondorf in Pokemon form. They wouldn't put Kyogre in, since there's no water in many of the stages.

A character I'd love to see in (but will never happen) is Chain Chomp ^_^ It's indestrutable, and that's why I love it, but many people will loath it because of it's cheapness.

The only pok?mon they'll put in a SSB game are those that are fairly popular among the mainstream fanbase. The main way that is accomplished is through the Anime.

I see a problem with legendaries like Rayquaza being playable characters. Notice the all the existing characters have the same humanoid shape (meaning two ams and two legs) to make the controls easy. Rayquaza is a far cry from the standard shape and It'll be hard to come up with attack animations and controls for him. Not to mention that he is just to **** huge to be a playable character...him and Groudon both would be too massive to play with on any stage effectively.

Ahh! Don't bag out Pichu! He is my 3rd best character and he'll stay that way! I can't stand people talking about my Pichu that way, never! As for Jigglypuff say anything you want to, but not to my Pichu.

As for legendary pokemon goes, I agree with tmbjr here. Rayquaza and Groudon are just simply to big and yea...the humanoid shape..thing..

"Since the creator of the game left, there may not be another installment" is something I'm hearing a lot in this thread, but they did continue the Metroid Series after Gumpei Yukoi's death after all. what's to stop them from creating SSB3?
Well...Masahiro Sakurai said that he knew that Kirby would be continued without him, but he didn't know about Smash Bros. When Mr. Yukoi pass away, his zombie did not come and tell us that he did not know if Metroid would be continued.

One side we have a quote, one side we have nothing. However, he said he didn't know. That doesn't mean there won't be another. It just means that it is unlikely and impossible to tell at this point.

Rumours mean pretty much nothing. Especially with Nintendo and their tight-lips. They're unlikely to leak anything before they want it to be known about.

I'd say it's highly likely they'll drag the serious out of the shadows again for the Revolution. It was one of the best games on the Cube and helped sell bucket-loads of them to begin with.

Characters included should be Wario (Waluigi?) and one of the characters from Golden Sun. Isaac or Garet or Mia or something. It was afterall one of the largest pre-pokemon GBA sellers.

I'd quite like to see Treecko or Blaziken in the game, they'd both kick serious ***.

I'm also one of those weirdos who although they know it'll never happen and essentially never should, would still love to see Sonic in there. He'd be a great character to fight with. It wont ever happen of course, but meh.

Also, just because the original creator of a game stops making games doesn't mean that the series wont continue. It's happened many times before and what do you think is going to happen with Mario and Zelda etc in the not too distant future (About 13 years) when Lord Miyamoto Retires?

Another point in case would be when the original developers stop developing games. Look at RARE. They may no longer make Donkey Kong but just look at all the DK stuff coming our way!

There's life in SSB yet. It's one of the greatest demanded games from the fans and would help sell Revolutions by the shedload if it launched with it.

A Nintendo employee hinted at a DS Smash over the summer during one of it's online events. I don't really believe that though.

When Shiggy retires, Aonuma takes over...for the Zelda part anyway. That much I know.

Rare were not the original creators of DK. Nintendo is.

I know that. But Nintendo didn't make any DK games for years. RARE's been behind them pretty much since the ape left the arcades. Meaning that technically, they are the original developers - just not of the main Character. They also created the characters Diddy Kong etc - which do now belong to Nintendo... somehow. No-one ever explained quite how they came to be Nintendo possessions following RARE's stealing away.

I think i heard the same rumour about a DS Smash. It makes sense that they'd launch any system with a Smash game but i doubt that we'll see one though. Nintendo's unveiled the majority of the games they wish to release and the final ones for now will be announced on October 7th. So past that, i doubt we'll see any DS Smashing for quite some time, if ever.

They are NOT going to abandon Smash Bros. It is a part of the franchise that is working, and if there is money to be made, they are going to tap into it, come hell or high water.

I think they should put Deoxys, Jirachi, or Celebi in the next one, you know more 2nd and 3rd/4th edition Pokemon... Also, they should put the guy from Pikmin in it; he could throw the little guys at the other people and they would keep attacking.

I like that idea, eccept the pikmin one.Because if the guy sent pikmin, the opponent cannot fight, and that would take the challenge out of the game and the opponent would be dead. :dead:

Actually, you can kill the little guys, so if an opponent chooses that character, you just need to kill them, and it takes him time to use each. Plus, if he uses them, he has to stand still, as the directional control switches to the little thingies.

Thanks for clearing that up.
