5th Gen What will the 5th Gen games be mostly known for?

Simple question but could get some deep responses!

What do you think the games are most remembered for? Is it the fact that they were the ones to introduce Pokemon such as Stunfisk or Garbodor, maybe the fact that they brought N to life, or even that they were the first games to really push the whole ying/yang thing, and gave us Unova? Share your thoughts from both a personal (what they're most remembered for to you) and what you think others most remember the games for. ^^

There are several things that come to mind:
Implementing a decent plot that questioned the very fundamentals of Pokemon.
The games looked pretty visually distinct imo - you have gens 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 6 and 7 as similar looking pairs of generations, 5 doesn't look like any of them.
While I have no problem with most of Gen 5's Pokemon designs personally, it will unfortunately be remembered for spawning some of the most disliked Pokemon designs ever.
Dream world will be probably be remembered as well.
For the competitive side, the gen 4 to 5 transition was one of, if not, the worst in terms of power creep.
Anime had probably the dumbest Ash out of any series, excluding the original series because Ash was, well, a beginner back then.
