What would be a good move set for Gengar???

WTF are you talking about? Only a complete moron switches in Skarm against Gengar since practically every Gengar build uses either Thunderbolt or Fire Punch. That's why McGar's got Fire Punch/Ice Punch on it. Really, what are you trying to prove (Other than the fact that you haven't been paying attention)? And no, it's not Adamant, it's Hasty. Sheez...check the build, will you?

I never heard of any moron using Gengar against a Snorlax. Snorlax after one or so Curses OHKOs Gengar with Shadow Ball.

Dude, I'm talking switch-in. Why do you think Focus Punch is there in the first place? Two things: Tyranitar and Gengar, both hit on the switch-in, after which you switch in a physical wall if necessary. Is this concept so hard for you to grasp? I've seen Gengar KO Snorlax with this build, many times. And who Curses against a Gengar, anyway? Their defenses are so weak that anything super effective = OHKO. And you still haven't answered my question: what are you trying to prove here?

Hi, most Snorlaxes have Earthquake, not Shadow Ball.

Pax Deorum, just curious, how many people posted a Curselax with Earthquake? The common is Curse/Rest/Return/Shadow Ball.

And I have never heard of a moron who uses Curse against Gengar. Snorlax will OHKO Gengar with Shadow Ball even without a curse. -.-

MCGar > Trigar. Trigar gets walled by every single Snorlax out there. At least MCgar can deal good damage to Snorlax on the switch.

I guess it can work but you need to put a lot of EVs in Attack and Speed.

Only needs enough Attack to 2HKO Blissey and Speed to beat 330 Starmie.

2HKO Blissey? I was expecting a OHKO. :\

You mean you were discussing McGar and didn't even know how it worked or what it did.

Lol. Shouldn't Focus Punch OHKO Blissey? :\

Do you actually expect that everything that has Focus Punch OHKOs Blissey?

Just about every good OU player here. Teams don't fear Gengar, and usually have no need to try and counter it with snorlax. Their main concern is counter MEtagross and Tyrnitar who can SCREW YOUR WHOLE TEAM if their attack grows high enough.

And no, Gengar can only roughly 49-58% Blissey with Focus Punch. Gengar's attack is too weak to KO Blissey with FP.

You are in 2004 before Tyranitar and Jirachii were invented. AKA, Shadow Ball Snorlax is only used in teams that have Gengar problems.

Then I guess that's a problem with most teams because Gengar has Levitate and is basicly like a phazer to Quakelax to stop Cursing and switch out.

I think you fail to understand the fact that ONE POKEMON ISN'T A TEAM. Teams who have EQ on Curselax have ways to deal with Gengar. This is called team synergy

Lol. Is that so? I know how to NetBattle and I'd probably school you. :P :P :P

Saying thats a problem with MOST teams is basically proving that MOST of the teams you've witnessesed aren't really solid at all.

You're assuming things yet again Synchronize. You don't know many of the opponent's I battle. These people mixed OU with UU and NU and use uncommon movesets that no one can really prepare for. When you thought you like you've seen everything in the metagame, please tell me.

lol, and when you actually learn that you aren't that good, please come see me. I've seen enough things in the Metagames respectively to prepare for them, because knowing a pokemon's stats and movepool are all you need to know. If you know how to play correctly, then no matter what the opponent throws at you, standard or not, you know how to fight back. Which, good sir, and I am well able to do.

You, however, don't even know how much you can hurt a Blissey with Focus Punch.

So when you learn how pokemon battle, please tell me.
