Whats A Good Japanese Girl Name

Hm. Let's see. Go with "Emiko" It's a nice name. I think it's my friend's name.

My favorites are

Akuma (demon/devil)
Haro (spring)
Sayuri
Haine
Yuki (snow)

I feel I should point out that the pronunciations of names don't have inherent meanings. It's how they are written that gives them meaning.

Take the name Miki for example. You could write it any of these ways (and probably more):

美紀 (beauty + record), 美姫 (beauty + princess), 美貴 (beauty + precious), 美樹 (beauty + tree), みき (hiragana characters with no additional meaning), ミキ (katakana characters with no additional meaning)

Of course, some names are hard not to associate with certain meanings. The name Sakura (桜, cherry blossom) is going to make people think of cherry blossoms even if you write it 咲楽 (blossom + comfort), 朔来 (first day of a month + come), 紗玖良 (gauze + jewel + good).

I'd like to point out that Aoi & Sakura arent names that would be given to humans, but to Anime charcters... As for names, uhm. Yoko, Acha (chan), & Sachiko are some names I've learned.
