What's a good moveset for Gyarados?

Special Gyara is horrible, SAtk is its worst stat

Not really it kinda fails, it has much more use attacking, than by using sp. atks.

Hydro Pump is about Gyarados's only special option, since it has a way of fighting back against the anti-Dragon Dancers (Claydol, Solrock, Lunatone). Sure it has only 60 base Sp Att, but with STAB + 120 power move the overall effect isn't too bad. The surprise factor alone makes it viable.

I also tried ParaPhazing. I use Thunder Wave, Roar, and Thunder Wave them again. Most people I face lack Aromathrepy and Heal Bell.

Yeah that's fun, but blissey and cel ruin somewhat the fun =(

That's the good thing about know how to phaze. I KO the Blissey or Celebi if I run into them so it doesn't ruin my fun or I just use up its PP with some like Zapdos so it can only use Aromathreapy 3 times.
