4th Gen What's a good Soul Silver team

Soul Silver hasn't come out in Australia yet, it's being released on the 25th of March and I would like to know what is a good team to start off with.

Sorry, but team help/suggestion threads aren't allowed here (partly as otherwise there'd be threads like this everywhere, and partly because really anything will do well in beating Pokemon games, if they are levelled highly enough and with enough variety/not just a team of 6 magikarps). =P Just go for Pokemon that interest you. Note that starter-wise Chikorita is regarded as the hardest one to use in the beginning parts (first gyms = flying and bug) but of course that's nothing a good Pidgey/Hoothoot/Spearow can't help with for instance.
