whats happened to the username change?

    hey i was wondering what happened to username changes. A couple of months ago i checked saying that my account needs to be 3 months old so i waited for awhile. i checked just before on the FAQ which says its no longer available to PC. Does that mean i have to create a new account to change my name?
     
    For some reason I'm not informed enough to say, changing usernames seems to put a great deal of strain on the server which can cause overloads. I'd take a wild guess and say the software the board is built on isn't coded to handle these very gracefully. That and we're such a popular forum...
     
    Staff can't change their name to be fair with others.
