What's So important about Ho-Oh??

I agree with everyone says, ho-oh inspires ash to go further when ever he loses to the pokemon league.

I bet at the last episode ash will catch ho-oh.

My theroy is that Ho oh is leading Ash to something. Maybe to his father or perhaps it's giving Ash some sort of test.

Of course this could all just be put poo and he's just an inspirational pokemon
