3rd Gen What's the guy in the battle tower for?

    I mean the one that lets you decide what you say when you win, lose, or are about to begin a battle. Does it have no real purpose, or does something happen when you mix records with that data? Do you appear as a certain type of trainer and say the things?
     
    It's for battling other trainers I believe. When you mix records, the person has you in your secret base on their game, and that's what you say when you battle them.

    Otherwise, I think you might pop up in the battle areas sometimes =S Not sure on that one though.
