What's The Weirdest Pokemon Evolution?

Wingull to Peliper makes no sense to me... I was just thinking about that the other day, too.

So... a seagull evolves into a pelican... unbelievable.

Also, the new evolution to Poliwhirl... what's it? Politoad? Something like that. It would make sense.. if he were still blue. But, it doesn't because he's green. Poliwag, whirl and wrath are ALL blue... so why is toad GREEN?? I don't get it...
 
The evolution to get shedinja is the weirdest one for me.
 
Probably Bagon -> Shelgon -> Salamence for me
 
Obviously Remoraid into Octillery is the weirdest evolution.
I was also thinking Feebas into Milotic as well, they look absolutely nothing alike...
Oh yea, forgot to mention Clamperl and Huntail/Gorebyss. Come on, who has ever heard of a clam evolving into an eel?
 
I've always thought the Nidorans were needless, confusing, and dumb. It's the same thing....only Male and Female! (I lol if you could hack a game and make a female NidoranM)
 
A Magikarp and A Gyarados(a useless fish turns into a BIG BAD DRAGOONNNN!!~)
 
Bagon-Sheldon-Salamance
Bagon looks similar to the baby of Salamance, but Sheldon is just... I don't know, it's not that similar to them. The same with Larvitar-Pupitar-Tyranitar
Dratini-Dragonair-Dragonite
Dratini and Dragonair are good but Suddenly changes of color, gets bigger, grows wings...? What?!
Glameow tro Purugly, from a "cute" cat to an ugly fatty cat...
Torterra has a Tree and some rocks in his shell...
Infernape has Fire in his brain OMG! Typhlosion the same but in his neck. Charizard, a bit less strange but fire in his tail. That hurts...

Actually, from Gloom to Bellosom, they don't look similar. Bellosom even looks weaker and is smaller.
 
I don't really find Remoraid evolving into Octillery that weird.
What I find really weird is Magikarp to Gyarados and Feebas into Milotic.
I mean, Magikarp, a weak, little, fish pokemon that can't use any move except Splash evolving into Gyarados, a very big and powerful pokemon that's able to destroy a whole town. (In Pokemon anime)
And, an ugly, weak, pokemon, Feebas, evolving into the beautiful and strong Milotic.
It's pretty weird, if you ask me.

I can't say no to the Dragon's gate, but a fish turned shrimp. gyarados looks more like a shrimp to me.

Grimer too. I had a theory that two grimers combined to form muk. Urkkk...

At least I can understand magnemite to magneton. Electrical charges combine. But how about Koffing? Ultra bad breath?
 
I still WTF at these. Nice use of imagination, but, really? Can I have some of what they were smoking? xD

Dragonair to Dragonite
Poliwhirl to Politoed
Carvanha to Sharpedo
Snorunt to Glalie/Froslass
Clamperl to Huntail/Gorebyss
Shelgon to Salamence

Hell the first time I played Sapphire I thought Huntail evolved into Gorebyss, forget Clamperl altogether xD.
 
Pokemon Evolutions that I find weird:

Smoochum to Jynx - I don't know why but I find it really weird.
Remoraid to Octillery - Come on. How did a fish turn into an octopus.?
Feebas to Milotic - Yeah, I like Milotic but how did a fish turn into a serpent like Pokemon.? I understand that it might be based on the story of the Ugly Duckling but I really think it's weird.
Clamperl to Huntail/Gorebyss - Isn't it obvious.?
Tangela to Tangrowth - Tangela just got bigger.
Nosepass to Probopass - Nosepass just got a mustache and a circular red hat.
 
Honestly, the one that bothers me the way more than any of the others is Goldeen -> Seaking. I mean.... what? What happened here, the character designer took a nap? At least most other pokemon have the decency to look even slightly different from their pre-evolved form. Gah.


Remoraid to Octillery was pretty messed up though.
 
Remoraid into Octilery. Seriously, what the hell is going on with that?

Voltorb to Electrode, what were they thinking?

Kakuna-->Beedrill
...that's all I can think of.

Mime Jr. - Mr. Mime
How something so cute turns into something so hideous is beyond me.

Mareep - Ampharos
Ampharos looks nothing like a sheep.

Poliwag - Politoed.
Just... no.

Surskit - Masquerain
I see very few similarities.

Nosepass - Probopass
Nosepass was horrible enough, but they just had to go and make it even more... bleargh.

Back on topic, Lickylicky imo. I mean seriously, what the hell? They could have at least given it a better name.
