Oh yeah what is ur priority? Defeating the league first or breed them,search for perfect ivs,nature,evs,level them? What is your?
For me defeat the league first with a high level Empoleon almost taking all type at one to two hits. Then start discovering the underground taking every trap and sphere and then go up the stark mountain kick the arse of every trainer then breed some unusual pokemon with each other (especially infernape with a female dugtrio to give diglet shadow claw) bcoz after u get the best after ur pokemon u can start breeding and thats keeps the juice of the game intact for me
