What's your all-time favorite Christmas song?

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Spoiler:

i don't know why it just is. probably because its so random that its christmas.

its either that or the night santa went crazy. im not even sure thats christmas at all!

Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.

And pretty much anything on the Rosie O' Donnell Christmas CD. It's my family's favorite. x3

Christmas Tree - Lady GaGa

Its so original and has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas like the holiday in general. My mom hates it but I can listen to it year long.

Silent Night- by many artists. I find myself singing it alot the holiday season.

Well, I listen to this all year around, even when it's not christmas :D

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

Also, Silent Night by post-rock group Canyons of Static, they've released a whole christmas EP for free on their myspace :D

My favorite Christmas songs are ones with more minor chords and a longing/mind-off-in-the-distance kind of singing. I'm not really a fan of the types of bright Christmas songs such as Jingle Bells or Rudolf.

The top two songs on my list now are Ave Maria and Oh Holy Night. And of course, I love allllll Christmas songs sung by Harry Connick Jr. They're just a higher level automatically. :3

Ukranian Bell Carol

It could be because I've played it several times in my years of Band, but I do love the song. It's amazing.

As for a song with words... I guess it would be the traditional 'Jingle Bells'.

Ukranian Bell Carol

That, sooooo much. We even sang it for out Festival of Lights two Thursdays ago :3 And it's still stuck in my head. To think I didn't even know the lyrics until we began practicing it X_X

Also, even though they aren't Christmas songs, S'Vivon and Hanukkah Holiday. Both are related to Hanukkah, obviously ("S'Vivon" is "Little Dreidel" in Hebrew). The former we also sang for the Festival of Lights, and the latter is nostalgic since I played it in 6th grade band :3

That's all I can think of.
