PS To eevee203, none of Eevee's evolutions need to be traded in Sinnoh.
HOWEVER, Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon require stones and I'm not sure how easy it is to get those in Platinum. Also, Espeon and Umbreon need friendship so they might take a while. Glaceon would probably take the longest because you can't get him until you get to Snowpoint City. Leafeon would probably be the easiest one to get since you can get him in Eterna Forest. Although, personally, I would recommend either Vaporeon or Umbreon for you since Fire is a pretty common weakness on that team and Piplup won't be as good against a Fire-type once it's an Empoleon. Vaporeon and Umbreon would help that because Vaporeon has a type advantage and Umbreon has great defenses and is neutral to Fire. Overall, Umbreon is the best choice. Like I said before, he has good defenses. Plus, his weaknesses (Bug and Fighting) are covered by other members of your team. I've had a lot of experience in the training business and FireRed taught me--the hard way--what could happen if most of your team is weak to one type. Curse you Lorelei!!!!!

You can get the stones very easily by using explorer's kit. It's just looking for them that can take a while. But because it's big, you'll notice it almost right away when mining for stuff.

Like what Dragonfire said, Vaporeon or Umbreon are good. But personally I LOVE Vaporeon. One of the best pokemon I had that it was a great wall and special attacker =3

I dont know if i want a vaporeon because i already have piplup. And is bronzor worth training? and i wasnt talking about eevee but thanks for the advice anyways. I was wondering about a sixth pokemon
