What's Your Favorite Pokemon Episode From The First Season?

    Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been on so I just want to talk about Pokemon for a little while. My favorite old episode of Pokemon is "Bad To The Bone". What's yours?
     
    um i exactly don't remember the names./. but i always liked the ep where charmeleon keeps on burning ash's face! lol also that one ep lost on gaint pokemon island or something like that? where theres sub titles for the pokemon's words? lol

    Yeah that was funny how Charmeleon always did that. ^^ I don't watch the Sub version of Pokemon, I watch the English version.
     
    lol. I remember that episode a little. Funny.
     
    Charizard vs. Magmar was the best. No other battle henceforth in the entier series was as epic, in my opinion. It was amazing.

    I watched that episode this morning while it was on. But I didn't get to see the whole thing. -_-

    "Island of the Giant Pokemon." (There's subtitles for what the Pokemon are saying, Rukia, even in the dub.)

    That said, to answer the question, I think I'll have to pin it on the following episodes, in no particular order:

    1. "Pokemon Scent-sation," just for Ash in a dress.
    2. "The Ghost of Maiden's Peak," just because of the storyline. (Mmm. Mythology and a non-cookie cutter plotline...) That and it's the first episode I've ever seen.
    3. All three Sabrina episodes ("Abra and the Psychic Showdown," "The Tower of Terror," and "Haunter vs. Kadabra"). First off, I always got some sort of sadistic amusement from watching Ash fly around as a ghost. Second, unlike other Gym matches, this is the first time that Ash actually had so much of a difficult time with a Gym Leader that he had to go out and train to face her again. Third, they're the sources of serious gold. Ash dancing with his pants down. Misty and Brock as dolls. Sabrina going all psychopath on Ash when she demanded him to send out a Pokemon... Some of the best moments in the anime right there. Other than Ash in a dress.
    4. "Holy Matrimony," just because it reveals a ton about James and gives the audience a glimpse of James as a good guy. It gave the viewers a refreshing look at the bumbling villain.
    5. "Princess vs. Princess," probably because it's a festival and competition dedicated to girls. And that rocks.

    rofl Ash in a dress that's to hilarious! xD I've never seen the Princess vs. Princess one. But I've seen The Ghost of Maiden's Peak, and Holy Matrimony. I haven't seen the Sabrina ones in a long time, but I have them in Manga.
     
    Here are my favorites:


    1. Showdown in Pewter City: Mainly because this was Ash's First offical Gym battle, it introduced Brock, and Pikachu got juiced up! XD seriously what Pikachu learns Thunderbolt on the first gym?!

    2. The Waterflowers of Cerulean City: I loved the Ash vs Misty Gym Battle, reminded me of the first time I played Pokemon Yellow Version ^-^

    3. The School of Hard Knocks: I liked this episode simply because Cubone was it, heh Cubone is so cute ^-^

    4. Electric Shock Showdown: Pikachu kicked major booty in this episode, I mean he beat his evolved form! Nothing sweeter!

    5. Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village: This episode introduced one of my favorite start pokemon, bulbasaur, lol Team Rocket got the wind knocked outta their sails XD

    6. Charmander the Stray Pokemon: This episode was very touching, Charmander is my all time favorite next to Pikachu.

    7. Here Comes the Squirtle Squad: Hehe only one word describes this episode Squirtle ^-^ Ash was really brave when he sheilded Squirtle from the bombs.

    8. Beauty and the beach: This episode was banned but it was one of the funniest episodes in season 1, when James was in the bikini, and Misty was jerlous of him! XD

    9. Hypno's Naptime: Misty really made me laugh when see acted like a Seel lol.

    10. The Ninja Pokeshowdown: Ash's Sixth Gym Battle was Ninja Styled! I love Koga ^-^

    11. March of the Eggaxutor Squad: Charmander evolved in this episode lol it was rather random through. I was expecting a dramatic episode when he evolved.

    12. The Problem with Paras: Meowth's first Crush XD, and Charmeleon was funny when he burned Ash's face lol.

    13. Attack of the Prehistioric Pokemon: Basically this episode rocked because it was the first that introduced Charizard! Ash's Charmander evolved in just 2 episodes apart! lol

    14. Who gets to Keep Togepi: Togepi is so cute! Togepi was the first Johto Pokemon to be revealed, Very early lol. And the Ash vs Misty rematch!

    15. Volcanic Panic: The most epic battle in Season 1 and Ash's Seventh Badge Battle. I wish Charizard would listen lol.

    16. All Fired Up: Team Rocket actually acted like real villians! They used a Flamethrower on Ash!

    17. Friends to The End: AshvsRichy was epic but the end of the battle was a spirit breaker, grr Charizard >_>'.

    18. Pallet Party Panic: The Final Episode of Season 1 and it went out with a blast! Charizard using his Wings to deflect TR's bombs back at them! Classic! And Pidgeoto finally evolved into Pidgeot! To bad it stayed behind ;;.

    I know alot but season 1 was my favorite heh.
     
    I LOVE the Sabrina episodes. They were FUNNY! I mean Ash and co. finally avoiding Team Rockets motto.

    Jesse/James: Hey! don't sit there ignoring us!
    Misty: This show is pretty boring
    ash: It will get canceled pretty soon...xD
     
    Battle Aboard the St. Anne, hands down. A good dilemma for Ash, the intros of Giovanni and the Rocket Grunts, James with a Magikarp with Jessie's reaction? It's filler gold, which isn't something I can say for this series.

    I'd rather face the Grunts than the endless trainers in the game. Bah. Heh.
     
    Battle Aboard the SS Anne was the episode that got me hooked. I'd watched Pokemon a few times before but when the Simpsons came on another channel, I'd switch over. But then I really wanted to know what happened so I *had* to keep watching. And so my Pokemon obsession began...good times.

    So my favourite episodes:

    Electric Shock Showdown ~ exciting battle between Pikachu and Raichu and Pikachu makes his decision on whether to evolve
    Ghost of Maiden's Peak
    Abra and the Psychic Showdown
    Wake Up Snorlax! ~ A crazy old hippy. I remember this being funny
    The Problem with Paras ~ I hate Paras and I like Meowth. Paras gets to die about a million times and Meowth gets a more prominent role, so yay
    Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon ~ I remember this being funny what with Team Rocket getting dynamite and Pikachu exploding it. Plus Charmeleon evolves
    Holy Matrimony! ~ has there ever been a bad Team Rocket centered episode?
    Who Gets to Keep Togepi? ~ Meowth wins a battle against Brock lol
    The Purr-fect Hero ~ MEOWTH
    The Ultimate Test ~ Ash fails. Hilarious.
    The Breeding Center Secret ~ First appearance of Butch and Cassidy. And its a good one. Plus James gets Victreebel
    Riddle Me This
    Volcano Panic ~ both are good battles
    Lights, Camera, Quacktion ~ I remember this was funny but can't remember why
    Go West, Young Meowth ~ MEOWTH
    To Master the Onixpected ~ Brock hits Bruno with a chair. I hate Bruno. That's the only reason I like this boring filler
    All the Indigo League battles.
    Pallet Party Panic ~ I think Charizard messes up the party so haha. With the help of Team Rocket, of course.

    I think that's all of them
     
    Electric Shock Showdown because of how cool Raichu was. I loved the battle where he totally beat Pikachu down. Nothing against Pikachu, but it was awesome.
    I also like The School of Hard Knocks. Not too sure why, I just did.
     
    I like the first episode, forgot what it`s called. I remember when my parents rented it for me so that I could watch it while I was sick in bed had to miss school & I totally loved the series. =]
