4th Gen When do I get the second aptitude test?

I really want a Larvitar from the Safari Zone, but I got stuck with pattern I, which means no mountain. What point in the story does the area customizer become available? Sorry that the thread title doesn't match the text I decided to change the text afterward to something else but couldn't change the title.

beat E4, then walk a lot, safari dude calls you and you get customizer

I got it! I'll trade one from Platinum. It won't take forever because I found out that if you set the clock to 23:59 and wait a minute, then you can cheat the clock. I tested it myself to.

...going to close then, although fairly sure that you don't have to wait until beating the elite four to get the call about the 2nd test (after doing the first) and hence getting access to the rest - seeing I recall getting the call while on my way to Victory Road. =p
