4th Gen When do roaming pokemon decide their nature?

    I just caught a latios with an adamant nature, which means low special attack. I haven't saved my game since I got it, so could I reload my old save to catch it again with a better nature?
     
    Well the moment Steven showed it to you, it was set. Even if you save and try again, unless you restart to before you leave the Pokemon Fan Club, you're pretty much doomed.

    Though, you can get a Ditto and breed the one you got and try your luck.

    Lati@s can't breed.
    From what I read, you can knock out Lati@s and beat the Elite Four to make it reappear. This works in Platinum, with most legendaries, so it should work in HGSS too.
