When the Sun Goes Down
The games have finally arrived, and only one day after the European release date! Got both Sun and Moon, but decided to play Sun since I'm not a fan of the 12 hours shift in Moon, which effectively turns day into night for most players. For me though, it doesn't matter all that much, since I'll be playing in the evenings most of the time anyway. With that said, let's dive right ahead and see what happens when the sun goes down!
Melemele Island I can already tell that I'm gonna have a hard time keeping up with Kukui, yeah, and can I just say I was so surprised to see that my starter won't actually be coming from him? And speaking of the starter, isn't this little guy just the cutest? Not only that, the whole thing on the platform where you wait for it to come to you made it ten times better than just picking up a Pokeball with your starter inside.
The beginning was still, well, an introduction to everything, with many, many cutscenes; I can already tell that this is gonna be different from the usual Pokemon adventure. I love how it feels like a very cultural experience, with island deities, island trials, the kahunas and the island festival.
