"we're being followed, nothing else can upset her that much." Double H said. the sea serpent backed away slowly, until she felt a sharp pain in her side. She had run into the lasers that surrounded the zone! She yelped, then moved off the lasers, but went no closer to the dragon.
 
Hoshi frowned. "Too bad the serpant doesn't knwo I'm not here to hurt her." said hoshi sadly. I could tell Hoshi didn't like being misunderstood in situations liek these. Hoshi paddled slowly foreward in hopes she could get further away from the beach and in hopes of getting the serpant to trust her..
 
<hang on a sec. lets see what she wants.> the serpent said, lowering herself in the water in a submissive gesture. normally she'd roll over, but she couldn't with passengers...
 
Hshi looekd at her puzzeldly for a moment and then nodded. Hoshi let out a high friendly-ish tone. I quite liked it.. I looked over back of her to the beach. I could see a black lizard-like head and the shiny skeleton of its arms looking at us half way in the forest and half way out. I looekd at it, frozen in fear and curiosity.

"Swim!" I said, fear apparant in my voice.

"Wha?" asked Hoshi in surprise as she looked back at me. She then looked back at the beach and gasped. The lizard opened its mouth and a black beam of energy came towards us. Hoshi dove into the water as the beam passed us and disapeared. She resurfaced with me, gasping for breath.
 
The sea serpent looked over toward the beach and got ready to fully dive, as Double H took advantage of the destraction to leap into the water, and dissapear.
 
OOC: Could someone fill me in on where we are?
 
OOC: I'll let soemoen else fill you in since I don't compeltely have my bearings myself.

IC: Hoshi swam as fast as she could to them. "If you need a ride, hop on!" she exclaimed hurriedly. I looekd back at the shore to see the lizard had disapearedas did the smell it had broguht with it. I breathed a sigh of relief. "Don't be to relieved. He'll be back tomorrow. That was merely a reminder of what he has in store for me." said Hoshi.
 
Double H did not surface. instead, the area that he dove into flashed a brilliant white, and a very familer dark brown, almost black dragon flapped out of the water, and took to the air, it's mouth glowing red. See, what had happened is that Smaug found the real Double H after he fell, and morphed into him, using the human form to see what was going on.

Eclipse flew for what seemed like hours, but was probably only minutes, until finally the area became recognisable. she was flying over the forest that was only a few miles away from the mountain. she glanced down, and saw Beladran, with Donnovan and Celeste, and a vampire that she didn't know. She landed on the ground a good ways away, but didn't even have to call to them, as Alzara and Beladran noticed me, and ran straight to her, crying out like happy hatchlings.

"gnosis? Eh?" I asked. I had no idea what they were. The puzzled look on Hoshi mirrored mine.

"please explain what these Gnosis are." said Hoshi with concern in her voice for the child seemed to be in pain.
 
"I hope they're ready for a good roasting" Smaug said, smoke tricking angrily out of his mouth. "they arn't the DomZ, but they'll serve just fine for now.." He had no idea why he was so angry at the DomZ, sure, they had taken a dragon captive, but the anger he was feeling was much more than the anger he would have felt..
 
"sure, but let's hurry. there's something urgent that I need to tell you." Eclipse said, as Alzara and Beladran got off her, and got ready to fly. "you can hop on my back if you want." Eclipse said as calmly as she could manage..
 
"It's not that simple..." I began explaining, "The tend to attack in hundreds, sometimes thousands. What makes it even worse, is that they came in many shapes and sizes."

"So what your saying is, is that our survival depends on how many there are?" david asked me.

"Sorta," I replied, not realizing I had left out the most important detail.
