"I have a hobby that most people, humans and dragons find disturbing." I said, getting up the courage to continue with what I was saying. "You must have noticed what my hands were going for. I had, quite a... large collection before that thing destroyed most of my posessions." I finally admitted, knowing that I had just ruined any chance of her forgiving me by telling the truth...
<you perverted little freak.> I said, moving away from him, though I still hadn't taken on an actual shape. <and you're trying to get me to TRUST YOU!?!?!>
I said nothing to this, but I started to literally rotate, beginning to whip up a tornado. Sadness, anger, and power were all combining to create a nightmare twister.
I took off, seeing all this, and deciding that now was not the time to be around. I began shape changing once I had secured a safe distance from Air, a lighter form that should be able to fly away faster than my current shape...
once my twister finally got to a reasonable speed, I shifted to that I was heading for a nearby town, that I knew would be totally demolished. It didn't matter to me anymore.
I had gotten a good distance away, but the wind began to pick up even further, and this lighter form wasn't able to fight against the current. A very young dragon, still a child, young by even human standards was being draw towards the tornado, screaming in defiance...
I saw the young dragon, and totally stopped. the twister stopped, everything. I would not hurt a child. ever. I let the twister fade, and my air-body dropped to the ground, as I morphed back to my dragon form.
I loked around, confused by the sudden stop in the wind, and noticed Air not far beloew me. Thinking that she stopped the tornado because she had something worse planned for me, I yelped, and took off at top speed, trying to get away from her. If she had something worse planned... I didn't even want to think about what would be worse than being ripped apart by severe wind currents.
After a moment, realized that I wasn't being attacked, and turned around. I noticed that she was just standing there, not flying after me, not causing dismembering winds to come at me, nothing. Thinking that I should probably se if I could figure out why, I began flying back towards her, but very cautiosly, ready to bolt if she tried attacking again...
At this point, I decided not to bug the kid and only say something if he hung around. I laid down, and curled up, causing a slight breeze, but not enough to push anythign around.
I continued flying, and eventually reached where she was, and landed softly. I cocked my head to one side, out of habit, and sat down the same way a dog would, waiting for her to say something first.
IC: I had seen to different dragons fly by and land. One had caused a tornado. Luckily she had called it off before it had reached me. I began walking towards the dragons. I needed company. Also, the dark skies were an ominous sign. I wondered if they knew weather magic so as to stop the inoming storm before it wreaked havoc on the desert. Though, even with the sun hidden behind dark clouds, I did need water.
I noticed the incoming storm, and I got to my feet, ignoring anything that was near me. I focused, and the wind started to shift, in order to blow the clouds away. However, I was worried. Rain in a desert? I was becoming conserned about my sister..
My eyes wandered to the cat-demon, and I remembered that she didn't know about my abilities to shapeshift. "Hello," I said, when she came close enough to talk to "Who are you?" I asked in a curious, innocent voice.
I walked up to the dragon and sighed. "I'm Kristen... By the way, you're scent is familiar..." said Kristen, the last part mostly to herself. Kristen looked up at the retreating clouds and breathed a sigh of relief. "For a moment, I almost thought it would rain." she said mostly to herself.
"My name is, Nidhoggr." I said, before turning around to look at the surrounding landscape, then up at the clouds. "Me too, but what's really strange was that tornado that was here just a second ago." I explained, thinking that she had falled for the act, and she probably had.
"Yeah a tornado was weird. It happened so fast too... I suspect it was magic based but I probably won't be able to prove it..." said Kristen, again half to herself. Kristen was used to talking to herself. She had had a lonely life.
