When Worlds Collide! (Remake)

I had started to shiver slightly, but that was because my body was cutting off it's own heat to keep recharging. I managed to recharge just past the unconcous point, but I was finding it difficult to keep gaining energy. I started to some around, hoping that I could find why my body couldn't keep gaining energy..
 
I noticed that Air was shivering, and mentally increased the fire. "You know," A small corner of my mind said "You could follow her, and warm her up much quicker..." I quickly stopped that train of thought before it went any further, shaking my head as if to throw out the thought.

I finally woke up fully, though I was disoriented, and still drained. not to mention starved, and i wouldn't go back to sleep until this problem was redeemed.
 
"Welcome back!" I said, smiling when i noticed Air was awake. "Anything I can get you?" I asked. I didn't know just what allowed her to purify the air like that, but if it was a magical ability, it probably took a lot of her energy...
 
"sustenance would be nice" I managed to say, though I was still tired. but I couldn't sleep. not yet. I had burned the last of my latest meal before this happened..
 
"What would you like? I've got just about everything in the stores." I said, getting up and walking over to the door. When i got there, I stopped and turned my head around to look at her, waiting for a reply.
 
"beggers can't be choosers." I said with a weak smile. I remembered how powerful I had felt when I first woke up, I couldn't wait to feel that way again..
 
"I'll suprise you." I said, wandering out of the room, and to where i kept the food stored.

It was only a few minutes when I returned, carrying a platter filled with smoked salmon, which I set down in front of Eclipse. "I do hope you like fish..." I began, ready to make something else if she didn't.
 
"you kidding? I love fish!" I said, managing to shift to I could get at it. the pain had been redused to a dull throbbing, but I pretty much ignored it as I managed to eat the fish quickly, yet without being messy, as only a lady can.
 
I smiled, iglad that she was enjoying her meal, when an Idea occured to me. "You managed to recognize me in a different form, tell me, what other shapeshifts do you know?" I asked, curious as to just what she could do...
 
I shrugged slightly, saying "well, I know that I used to morph dinosaurs all the time, but other than that, I don't remember." and it was true. My memory was still incredibly limited..
 
"Maybe after you're done, we could find out just what you can shapechange into. Or at least get an idea of the kinds of things." I said, thinking. I'd never taught anyone before, but then again, this really didn't count as teaching...
 
"I need to rest first. and don't think I've forgivin you for earlier." i said, laying back down. I was still cold, but now that I was full, I was pretty much ready to sleep until I could try and fix whatever it was that was going on..
 
I said nothing, but winced at her comments. I really did feel bad about what I did, why couldn't she see that? I put on a fake smile and said "Well then, i'm sure you must be tired, I'll let you sleep." and got up, heading for the exit.
 
I dozed off once he left, and i let my energy slowly re-generate, though I could feel a new peice of the mental puzzle fit in, though I didn't know what it was..
 
I had waited a few minutes, and then looked inside. Sure enough, she was sleeping. I walked in, and sat down in the chair, and simply stared at her. I didn't like being apart from her, even though I knew she hated me at this point. I still felt guilty, but that wasn't the only reason I was doing all this for her...
 
I didn't know how much later it was that I awoke with a yell, recovering from a nightmare I had ended up with.. I didn't even remember to hate Smaug, I had been so freaked out by the nightmare..
 
"I'm fine. Just a dream. But it seemed too real..." I said, leaning aginst him, trying to calm down.. I could only hope my dream wouldn't happen..
