When Worlds Collide! (Remake)

ooc: So I guess I'm written out of this RP then... Since I've missed like what, 10 pages?

suddenly, a rush of air, almost like thunder roared, as magical spikes appeared around the creature fighting Air, glowing red and trying to stab their way into it's flesh. I had woken up on the ground a moment before, with no clue what was going on, but anything that tried to harm Air was going to die a painful death, I knew that much.

The pheonyx flapped it's wings once, not bothering with a mere annoyance. With a sudden rush of it's wings, it generated a windstorm that I desperatly tried to endure, but a normally insignificant mistake with my wings caught the wind, sending me spiraling, disorinting me for a split second as i righted myself. that second was enough. the pheonyx slammed directly into me, staying aginst me until it forced me into the ground, of which it returned to the sky right before I had connected.

"Air, don't give up." I muttered to myself, as I tried to think. It was clear I was out of my league, but if i could distract it enough so that Air could get in a free attack... I immidiately recast my shock of spikes spell, and continued assault after assault, spending all my energy as fast as I could. hopefully, it would try to get rid of the distraction...

The pheonyx fended off the attacks, but with a flap of it's fiery wings, covered the area in total darkness... I couldn't see... But then, something came to mind.. my duty.. my quest to protect the planet... This... thing... could not stand up to my full power... I fought to my feet, and with a loud roar, took to the skies again. The air from my wings again stirred up a massive tornado, of which I immediatly engulfed the pheonyx in. I dove down, striking at it with my claws again and again.. until I knew. It was over. I released the tornado, as the skies cleared considerably, though I knew there was still much evil around. I saw something fall to the ground, and I dove down, picking it up with my claws. I couldn't recognise it now, but i was sure i would when I had calmed down.

"Air?" I asked fearfully. She didn't seem to be in ANY mood to be bothered, when i had an idea. I cast a very passive emotion altering spell. To calm her down, I tried instigating a feeling of hapyness, but the side affect of the spell being so passive was that the reciever tended to have a lot more energy...

I felt a spell coming my way, and dispersed it, morphing human so I could store the device in a pocket. I could examine it later. "using a spell on me right about now would do you more harm than good." I stated without showing emotion.

"Sorry," I said, not showing any outward signs of fear, though I was almost petrified. "I was only trying to help..." I began, but trailed off, knowing that it would probably be better to shut up now.

ooc: real nice guys. Go ahead, continue to ignore me and treat me like I don't exist. Don't give me a way to get back in the RP.

FT, this just further confirms what I told you earlier in IM.

OOC: Pogi, at this point, you're spamming. either figure a way to get back in, or leave. sorry to be harsh, but even though you're a friend, i have a job, and I'm going to do it right.

IC: i growled slightly, trying to wind down, but I could feel my exhaled breaths of air chill to a point where it produced steam then it connected with the outside air. "come on, let's go."

"Of course," I said, instantly changin my otne. "Lead, on, and I will follow." I said. I still remembered how she could be when she was angry, and I had absolutely no intention to incur her wrath again.

ooc: Well jeez, you guys aren't being fair at all. how the heck am I supposed to "fit back in" as you put it if I don't even know what's happened since you guys ditched me ten pages back? That was, after all, my original question. What had I missed. So FT, if you want to enforce teh rules, inforce them on someone who's actually breaking them. I don't have enough time in my day to go back and read all that, and I need someone to tell me what's happened. So it's NOT spam.

Now can someone please tell me what I missed?

OOC: That's a hard question, Pogi. It finally turned out to be a great threat to all earthly creatures that the distortion of the dimensiones grew bigger and bigger. It allows the demons from Hell to stream into our world. They feed on dark emotions, they love hatred, jealousy, and rage. You are a perfect target for them. The barbarian Alrik (me) was sent on a mission to try to convince the dragons to become allies to the barbarians in case that there was a conflict between Heaven and Hell. He, however, learned that there is a dimensional crack somewhere, and went to the dragons to warn them. After that they got betrayed by a magician of Alrik's own tribe - the man he trusted most and in whose hands he could leave his life to be guarded. It turned out that it's the Lord of Terror himself - Diablo, but disguised in a powerful illusion, so that even the dragons did not recognize him. We knew that we don't stand a chance against him if he decides to come pay us a visit. However, we could stop him by changing the distortion so that it could fit back in the matter of interdimensional space. We all got lured into Hell by an induced fake teleportation spell and now we are facing Hell with all its horrors. Basically you'd be wellcome - the demons would just love your character.
IC: Alrik had seen the battle of the dragon with the dark leviathan. "A Phoenix cannot die; at least not when it's on its own territory!" he warned the female dragon. "You have to do something in order to cease its existance or else you'll have to fight it again ...". A loud crack of thunder drowned his last words. He knew it would not be as easy as they thought. It was a fairly simple plan, but a difficult one to accomplish. Suddenly an idea came to his mind - "Some of us would have to stay here and protect the portal. We will split up into two groups. The defenders are going to try and find the closest source of the distortion - it should be a powerful demon. The second group comes with me to find Diablo. Any volunteers?" Alrik asked gravely. His words echoed in the deserted valley breaking the still silence. Another thunder cracked the sky.

At the pheonix comment, I lowered my head to meet his eyes, and said, though my mind-voice was slightly disorted by a growl, <I advise you watch your tounge, human. I have been here since the World was first set into order. I know all too well about the pheonix. Brother Fire and I created them.> I shifted again, returning to my normal position, and said in a slightly louder voice so that the others could hear <With the world like this, it is only to be expected that Fire has joined the demons. with that, he will attempt to destroy me, to stop a birthing that must occur if this world is to ever be set back in order. As of currently, I could handle Fire right now and win without much trouble. A few days will change that. I will need a guardian.>

Finally, I raised onto my hind legs, sniffing the air. Something vaugely familier reached my nose, and i had to lower immediatly back to all fours to keep from falling over in shock. <your prediction is considerably accurate, however. the foe that controls this area is at least partially demon. but the rest of him is pure. this will not be an easy fight.>

"Well, you may hate me as much as is in your capacity to do so, but I won't let anything harm you while I'm still drawing in breath." I said, I was slightly irritated, but I didn't let that show in my voice...

My growl instantly became louder, and though I wanted to slash him, I couldn't. <I'm already in a bad mood, don't make it worse> I warned, before dissapearing into thin air. <I'm going to see where my enemy is, and destroy him once and for all...> I said in a low tone

ooc: Alright, I'm going to stumble back in here now... Look out. ;)

ic: I appeared on a ledge overlooking all of hell. I shivered beneath my cloak. I thad been a long time since i had been here. But I sense mortal souls in this realm, and something told me it was out of place. VERY out of place. I began flitting about, trying to find those who were trapped here.
