6th Gen Where do ORAS rank on your list of favorites?

Well, Generation 3 was my favorite to begin with.
XY did take the #1 pedestal for a time, until ORAS was released, and it is now my favorite game of all time.

What I love most about it is that it feels entirely like it's own entity,
like you're exploring a completely different region,
but then you see old friends, enemies, and next thing you know, you're flat on your ass with nostalgia.
It's great.​

I like ORAS, but they're not at the top of my list. I don't have set rankings, but they're probably something like this:
1. GSC
2. HG/SS (more features, but I have more memories with GSC, so GSC wins out)
3. FR/LG
4. RBY (these have fluctuated, but I think nostalgia is moving them back up the list)
5. XY
6. DPP (these aren't aging quite as well for me, though, so they may move down over time; a lot of my fond memories of Diamond also come from doing lots of online trading the first summer after it came out)
7. ORAS
8. BW2 (really love the amount of post-game content in these; my main issue was just hitting a bit of a Pokemon slump during gen V, so I didn't get as into these as I could have. Ranking could go up on a replay.)
9. Emerald (pretty close to BW2)
10. BW
11. RS

That being said, I still really like the games at the bottom of my list, so I think they're all awesome. I've never cared that much for Hoenn as a region (too much water, I guess), but I've been much more impressed with the remake than I was with my first visit (though I really miss Emerald's Battle Frontier, which was awesome). I also really liked how ORAS came out after XY, so I could trade some breedjects to AS and use those on my rotating team as well (like I did with some non-Hoenn Pokemon in Emerald). I guess I just never got as attached to my Sapphire team as I did with Pokemon from some of the other generations.

My main gripes with ORAS are the lack of Battle Frontier and the lack of customization (mainly because I've never liked the third gen protagonists' outfits). I like the landscape much better with the newer graphics, though, and I love soaring (and not having to carry a flier with me).
