Where does the meat come from?

Im gonna assume that there are real animals, being neglected because Pokemon exists for pets/companions.
So they offer themselfs as sacrafices to meat houses to feed the humans so they feel like they're being helpfull and important.
 
Miltank and Tauros are the "beef" of the Pokeverse me thinks. While the fish could be...any water born Poke besides Magikarp and Gyarados.

Its either got to come from naturally dead pokemon, or actual creatures they just dont show
Tofu. Pleh. that would be a horrible life if all you got was tofu and veggies =p

Actually, meat DOES come from Pokemon!

Remember the Episode of when James gets a Magikarp, the gang starves, they Daydream Long John Magikarps, and it ends up growing into a Gyarados. Dinner's off, boys :*( .
 
They took over the United Federation of Planets and stole all their replicators, of course! ~*^_^*~

No but really, I never thought about it XD; I guess it'd just come from meaty Pokémon like Tauros or Miltank, and they'd be raised for meat, like cows are nowadays. Either that, or everything they eat is tofu and they've never heard of meat :'(
 
I agree, the meat probably comes from Tauros or Miltank. Does the bacon come from Grumpigs?
 
And eggs! Im sure they come from Pidgey or something!

And in the Sinnoh Canalave library in the games Diamond and Pearl, there's some story about some guy who went around "slaying Pokemon which gave sustenance." That means there apparently were Pokemon people ate.

Can't stop laughing.

That'll show Whitney for beating me 20 times. I had to spend 2 hours training a Machop to beat her.
 
It's always somthing me and my brother talked about, we came to the conclusion that all the pokemon could be eaten, only a few were, cos the pokegoverment probably had protection schemes going on to stop rare pokemon being eaten, we have way too much time on our hands though...

I always try to b as funny as possible so somebody adds one of my quotes to their sig. =3
Whitney is so hard. My first play through Silver took me around 15 trys to beat her, when she finally decided to not use Attract on my Croconaw.

Obviously, just check out some Dex entries.

Pidgeot eats Caterrpies but not Weedles because of the poison on its tail.

Umbreon hides in the shadows and waits for its prey to come closer then attacks.

What do you think Umbreon does with the prey he KO's? Reads it a bedtime story?

Well that's pretty much what I was thinking...but now that you bring it to my mind, can Umbreon even read? O.o
What Pokemon is most like a chicken? O.o I'm pretty much at a blank atm but yeah... Chicken is awesome
 
Farfetch'd

Isn't Farfetch'd going extinct because so many people are hunting it for meat or something like that? So, people must eat Farfetch'd, right? It probably tastes like duck. :P
