3rd Gen Where has Giovanni gone?

    After you get the 8th badge in Viridian City from defeating Giovanni, he says that he can never show his face again in front of team rocket. He also says that our paths will cross again, what exactly does that mean? Where else do you see Giovanni after you get the 8th badge?

    Yep, he's right....its a normal plot thing...Leader does some bad stuff, cliche'd hero stops him, leader changes himself, never to do again because of how badly he was disgraced by hero, etcetera, etcetera..XD
     
    Not exactly true. You do get to meet Giovani on the 10 Island after you get Mewthree and Mewkagillion. He has a level 150 Mewfour so you must beat him with a caterpie.

    Yeah...why do I doubt that highly? Those are after all fictionous pokemon and it most likely won't happen like that if Giovanni were to be found somewhere again.
     
    Not true. The rumors say that Giovanni can be found if you have a Gameshark.
     
    Lets keep this clean. Rumor free would be the right way to go; and you know what rumors I am talking about. He'll probably pop up again sometime, who knows. It's like where did Ash's Pidgeot go, and why hasn't he seen him again when he said he would. they are just things they say to say them half the time.
     
    Yes and like the time when butterfree left and never came back and Primape as well.
     
    He may show up again, but in FRLG? Never. And that load about the other versions of Mew(insert) is just a pile of you know what.

    XD I actually agree with him for once, the gameshark is an unauthorized cheating device, so finding him can't be possible unless the game is rewritten. Anyway its just one of those holes that people use to cover up the fact that certain characters aren't coming back.
     
    u will find givonii in the house in 7 island (with boxes blocked) if u have da japanese version

    The thing is, no one has figured out a [legit] way to get in. There hasn't been any e-cards for FRLG at all. Using the Union Room has no effect. And NoA hasn't released anything else to let us in. So for us, our only option is to use codes to get in there. And that just results with a battle with some random trainer, according to Tetsuya.

    And I have no idea how the Japanese version does it, so I'm staying out of that one.

    Nope. Tch, Giovanni is gone, forever. Chronologically speaking the only mention ya'll ever hear from him again will be when Rockets in GSC mention him, tch, but he still doesn't make his appearance even then, despite tha fact that they even call him on the air when they take over tha Goldenrod Radio Tower.

    Nope. Tch, nothing will ever bring him back. <_<
     
    The definite thing is that he might show his face in diamond and pearl versions with even stronger pokemon than ever.And the mewthree stuff and using gameshark to find him is stupid and a lie.

    I checked out the Japanese FRLG e-reader card site... and it only says that you can meet new trainers by scanning e-cards in the Trainer Hill in Sevii, and has no information about meeting trainers in the house like R/S.

    I guess the idea got ditched in the Japanese version too.
