Where to start

    Hello everyone, welcome to my first post!

    So as the title describes, I have no idea where to start anymore. When I was younger it was just Pokemon card please sir, and I would get a pack or two. Now there is this generation, X&Y etc.

    I'd like to start buying cards again to collect, possibly sell at a later stage depends. But I have not played the game or bought a pack in such a long time, I feel like I barely know what is going on anymore.

    If you could please suggest a box to buy (i'm going to buy booster boxes not packs) that is the most up to date/best to start collecting with I would be grateful. I know that generations has different boxes that have larger cards but id like to start with booster boxes.
    If you wouldnt mind saying the card(s) I should be looking out for in the boxes aswell, I.E Mega(x)

    I am from the UK if that makes any difference.
     
    It really depends what sort of box you're after-are you after ta box which is more useful in TCG so can sell doubles, or a box that the set has nice artwork?

    Hi there,

    Im not sure. Id sell doubles, but I also appreciate nice looking cards. i'll probably do openings on my youtube channel so a box that has more "appeal" would be beneficial.
